I know the backup quarterback is always the most popular kid on campus, but losing a guy who would be starting his 3rd consecutive season at point guard sucks, and really hurts our chances at having a national championship contender.
Would have liked to see him grow up next season but he basically quit on his team in mid January. Not at all sad he's leaving.

Solid weekend.

Helped the economy by spending a solid grand on outdoor furniture for the back patio. Finished off all yard work including mulch, which was a breeze.

Old house: 50 bags a year.
New House: 6 bags.

Back to work in the morning. Only working 3 days. Thst used to sound awesome, now, there isn't **** to do. Anyone want to play golf?

Bought a bottle of Don Julio friday. I'm starting to really enjoy tequila, again.

21 Bridges last night. Solid B.

See UL fans on twitter excited about making a fake championship game. Maybe their fake title will pretend to be vacated?

Speaking of Twitter, saw a video where a local social distancing maniac choked a teenager, pushed another, and may have leg dropped one as well.

Today's lineup:
Margarita around 2
4 beers for dinner
Now, a bourbon nightcap

- Now that was a Kentucky spring weekend.

- With all this extra time the neighborhood has gone fully in on getting the yards/landscaping in immaculate shape. I, on the other hand, aerated and over-seeded and can't mow for a bit. The judgmental scorn of those walking by is real.

- Grilled some sirloins last night. Yep, sirloins. As the proverbial GYERO shame falls upon me i hold my head high knowing... they tasted good.

- Week 3 working from home and it's kinda becoming the new normal. Just make the best of it.

- Golf (along with baseball) might be the best sport for writers to take deep dives. Still find it amazing The Athletic doesn't have a golf writer (not that it matters now).

10 word summary?

There is no concrete yes or no yet. The first study that came out that showed dramatic improvement was very weak, and the second study which was a stronger study showed slight improvement, but still not strong enough to definitively say it’s an effective treatment. Also Trump and Republicans are stupid idiots.

*Probably a rapper that isn’t dead yet, so who cares.

*OF Birthday Bourbon is just a great pour.

*You know it’s bad when ESPN thinks it’s a good idea to put NBA players on TV playing NBA2K against each other. GTFOH

*Just watched two idiots from Lexington, KY on Shark Tank trying time push a bat B&B as a fix against the mosquitos that come from milder winters.

Even if this is a rerun, talk about odd timing.

*My new yard was done in just 45 minutes of work, and I’m extremely thrilled about it. Past 2 houses I never got finished with a full mow, weed eat, and cleanup in less than 2 hours.

Really Hagans is the main reason we couldn't push a lead past 10 all year. He just loved to do too much dumb **** at that point.

I'm pretty sure THE CORONA is going to clear out the pretenders in college basketball. Kentucky always gonna eat. Cal has said as much.

Carolina will ride its recent tailspin into oblivion. It won't be long before HS kids won't even remember them being any good. Coach K will soon succumb to his inevitable retirement, and Duke will never be the same.

When this and the NBA draft changes are all over with, then 4 to 6 super-programs will emerge, who will mostly take turns sharing titles until at least 2045.

We will win 7 of those, and will be at 15 before UCLA even gets to 12.

7 miles this morning and just finished 20 more, on a beach cruiser. My *** and legs are sore but it gave me and the gal a chance to hop in the ocean for a bit at sunset so worth it.

I have little concept of what day it is right now. Getting harder every day.

it was either this week or the week past, and I swear I woke up on a Tuesday morning in full blown Saturday mode (bacon, eggs, biscuit and gravy all cooking with music playing in the background) just peaceful and chill as could be.

Then the wife ruined it with a quick “babe it’s Tuesday aren’t you working today”.

Only reason I knew what day it was today, is it was my kid and my birthday...made it as fan as possible for him as can be without a ton of friends over...but usually, I lose track of what day it is after Monday.

We are working from home but the whole area is shut down. Nothing is open except essentials. Half the people we work with aren’t working. It’s basically a 50% schedule right now. And no timeline at all for when things will open again. The way Newsom talks he’s dead set on going months and months with this path. Hard to stay busy all day through that uncertainty. Luckily my legal background keeps me busy with internal projects, but others aren’t as lucky.

The worst fng thing is the indefinite period. Give us a deadline, a light at the end of the tunnel, and we can all work with that. I realize they would if they could. Trump tried with his Easter deadline.

Today it's actually comforting to hear the Surgeon General and Dr. Birx say the next 1-2 weeks will be the worst of many Americans' lives. Pinpoint it, peak it out, and hopefully the worst of this beast is finished before May 1.

Got it. I’m basically working from 7:30-4:00 while being the primary kid watcher (preventer of injury) for a 3yo and 5yo because my wife’s job is mostly coordinating on the phone all day. Then we break for dinner and bedtime and I work again from 9:30-Midnight to get some productive work done. I’m working my *** off at the moment, but it could slow, obviously. (I definitely know when the weekends are.)

I had a pretty set schedule Tues/Fri 7a gym, Wed/Sat/Sun dinner with friends, Friday family night out. So it just feels like one really long Mon-Tuesday.

I don’t disagree, but this thing will continue to spike for months unless Americans make big time changes AFTER we are able to come out of the house. Masks in public are an absolute must.

Rolling this thing back is going to be hard af. Glad they formed a task force but I just feel like as soon as they peel one layer the rest are just going to say F it.
