Watching this 2012 Champ game and a bunch of 2010 the last week.

It's stunning how different Cal has his teams play from even then. It was all about attacking after a rebound, first or secondary break. We basically played 3 PGs+bigs who could run this year, and yet the last thing Cal wanted is them to run, attack, and challenge mis-matches in the open floor. It's like he wants to handcuff them to run a slog of a half-court set. You could see how much better we looked this year in the rare times they were let loose this year.

Just see what happens in the 2nd half of this game when he tells them to kill clock. Kansas almost came back from a blowout and won the damn championship.
