Returning Sestina wouldn't be a bad thing. Nice dose of good news needed but likely wouldn't apply to UK for some reason.

I'm afraid a lot of these city-wide shut downs are because these govt leaders have some early access to the numbers/results of huge wave of tests that started over the weekend.

Trying to close **** down before the numbers get released and all hell truly breaks loose. Hope I'm wrong, but we'll see tomorrow and Wednesday what shakes out.

They shouldn't really need to hide it. I think we all know it's been here for months and has infected way more 4,600.

Good to see Amazon and WalMart are thriving. Those guys are due some good fortune.

@cat_chaser confirmed. Irish Kevin’s, Sloppy Joes and Dantes have already shuttered and there some of the biggest, most popular bars for tourists and it’s not even mandated yet. The whole town is rumored to be closing down this week. Going to be very weird here.

Unless you are a doctor, nurse, or work at a grocery store you should probably not expect to work until mid April at the earliest and it will probably be later. The rumor for courts in KY shutting down was May 15. Whether true or not, it probably isn't a terrible guess.

This is going to be a delight.

If this **** cancels Steely Dan and Steve Winwood at Riverbend 6/28 someone will pay.

Pitino at Kentucky is always that college girl you look back at fondly. You had your best times with her, then it ended terribly, you all spent years badmouthing each other while meeting other people and finally getting married to others, then you become facebook friends and share kid photos.

Catching up-busy day for me.

Maybe the best thing to come out of this is Pti actually having a take and not just playing contrarian.

Sorry Anth, Germany announced 1459 new cases today per your website. Almost 8000 new cases today between Italy, Germany, Spain, and France. The spread of this disease is inevitable. Nice spread sheet though bubba. If anyone has questions, thoughts, opinions, please refer them to the CDC.

Trump is Trump, he's in a terrible pickle but I think he's trying his best. I mean, you know his ego wants him to win big and defeat this virus in a way you wouldn't believe...in that I take some comfort. Seems he is listening to the experts even if his comments don't translate. I'm sure he's trying to avoid widespread panic, but his little reveals are doing otherwise. I mean, in my lifetime this is the first time I can think of shutting the country down for anything like this. Is it overboard, time will tell. Based on what else is happening in the world seems prudent to error on the side of caution. And its happening now, and probably will get more restrictive in the very near future.

I can speak from a position of knowledge that yes they are conserving tests for people who either had close contact with known positive corona or high risk travel. Regardless of test results, wash your hands, social distancing, stay home if you feel sick unless having severe symptoms...try not to crash the economy.

Clark-good luck with the landscaping, and while I feel bad saying this, think you will likely be bitten by a copperhead. I am not rooting for this, just seems legit.

I think Governor Andy is doing a great job, proud to have gone to high school with him.

Buckle up America, its gonna be a bumpy ride.

And F Pitino, treason is punished by death in this country.

8 weeks seems to be the number always mentioned with China, so that's what I'm expecting this quarantine to be. Just walked through my hood, everything just feels eerie.

Bonus as I was checking out at CVS manager brings up a bottle of hand sanitizer he found somewhere so I immediately bought it. Covered with that and toilet paper, now all I need is some food.

We’re being told to schedule things no earlier than early May.

Later, Immanuel.

Life just keeps getting better!

EDIT: This is from John, not IQ himself. We’ll see. And a headline said that Cal “expects him to stay in the draft,” but the report doesn’t quote him saying that. Still expect him to go, but he’s a different kid. Who knows.

Germany has a .1% death rate, Bob. So to put that in terms you can understand -> if you had 3.4 tomahawk ribeyes and ate all but .1 tomahawk ribeyes that would be the difference in Ze Germans ability to keep people alive vs the rest of the world. That's like 79 ounces of tomahawk ribeye(German C-19 *** kicking).

The Mexican restaurants smell blood... they are going in to crush the struggling Chinese food outlets.

What a freaking power play....
Not just the restaurants but they need to smack down the cartels and take the Chinese production. If 1 thing comes out of this it's diversifying our supply chains.

I don’t know Jennifer Palumbo. Never met her. Might be the nicest lady in the world... but GYERO has completely turned me against her. I saw the article on Lex18, started smiling and immediately came here for the responses.

Wayyy out in front of this.

The problem is that Mexico is too expensive now. Vietnam is going to take some China production but they don't have enough people. It will take years and years to get away from China. Trump is/was trying to do this even though it has been painful AF due to tariffs.

- Council on Foreign Relations lady I’ve been following on Twitter says to get where you want to be for the next six-eight weeks now. Towns blocking off at interstate off ramps, the works. I just hope my parents don’t have it already and not know. But, we don’t want to risk ourselves having it and then coming to stay with us.

- Also, there is a depressing paper out of China about the virus with kids. It does affect little kids somewhat but not bigger kids.

Was just told by a driver at the bread factory here they will be shutting down next week. Told the driver to abandon the semi if threatened during deliveries. They deliver bread all over including Louisville which is his run. This takes it to a new level.

Finishing up this UK-IU 2012 S16 Game waiting for some work stuff to come through- and thoughts:

- Indiana was a pretty damn good modern team- shooters everywhere and a versatile big in Zeller. How they didn’t get past the S16 in that three year window is a absurd.

- They’re shooting like 60% ... and the Cats are in control more or less all game. And this is with Davis a no-show. Played 5 minutes in the 1st half and struggling a bit in the 2nd.

- Cats just relentless. Everyone in the top 6 can create off the bounce. Lamb and Miller underrated in that regard. Miller with 8 straight mid way through the game. Always in control. Lamb bombing or straight line drives.

- And MKG just everywhere mixing it up. A PERFECT modern day college 4. And with Jones, an embarrassment of riches on the wing.

- Hate Crean but will always respect him for actually balling and trying to beat this squad straight up.

Or, as I like to affectionately call it, the go coach the Knicks cocksu*ker game.

Wasn't this do to Eloy? I need to watch this week but I remember Eloy was so awful in that game.

I do respect Crean for running with us but then lost it when he complained about fouls afterward. I mean Davis was in huge foul trouble and they didn't take full advantage.

Good old SF on a 3 week lockdown. Our customer is freaking the F out as their base there.

It's coming this way. Like with the NCAA it only takes the 1st domino to drop. Plus, with Italy apparently showing signs of success, we will all be trapped inside soon.

I’ve been reassuring my wife with this apocryphal Mark Twain quote for a month:

"When the end of the world comes, I want to be in Cincinnati because it's always twenty years behind the times." (She works at a hospital in Cincinnati)
