So until a vaccine, will the tournament be canceled next year when it comes back?
If truly 70% of the US is exposed to it, then in theory 70% of Americans will have immunity to it even without a vaccine...
So until a vaccine, will the tournament be canceled next year when it comes back?
Vince Flynn is good. Mitch Rapp is a badass.Enjoying 80 degrees and sunshine. Found a new author, Vince Flynn, so I've been reading a little. Planning to tune in to Svengoolie tonight and watch an old B rated horror flick.
No doubt the media loves to play up a crisis but this one is probably a case where it's better to overplay than underplay. Italy, France and Spain are all in lockdown mode now other than for groceries, pharmacies, necessary goods and hospitals. Almost all commercial businesses are on shut down. The U.S. media had nothing to do with that decision. This is all about listening to the scientists and mitigation of the virus spread. Allowing it to spread rapidly without mitigation looks like Italy, which has a Health Care system in absolute crisis now because of a lack of attention to the growing crisis until it was too late.Hanging out here and on E-bay.Really a bad year for the NCAAT to be canceled,I think there would have been some epic games. No golf sucks too. I hope things work out better than expected and get back to normal soon.
I can't help believing that the news media is going overboard with the dire predictions. We will probably never know the real answer to that question. They seem to cry wolf when a Pomeranian walks past
It seems like we can't trust the media since the days of Walter Cronkite or sportscasters since Cawood
Truer words were never spoken, er... written. That was the best site/page.Bring back Ukbasketballlive. The gov probably shut in down but it was the best if ya wanted to watch past UK games.
I am not discounting the people who brings us great replays today, I am just saying that site was great for older games.
The metro ATL area.....doing ok.Life without UK basketball sucks for sure. And while here in Western Kentucky we haven’t had any real coronavirus diagnosis, we are still a little on edge about it. TP is scarce and hand sanitizer is a thing made of legends in long forgotten lore. Folks are staying mostly indoors today for a lot of reasons.
Personally, I go from not being worried about this at all to being somewhat concerned. Just with my past dealings with my parents’ health issues I’m tired of watching people get sick and hurt. So, for me I’m used to hearing bad health news and I sit on the fence of waiting for a big “bomb” so to speak on this Covid-19 outbreak.
Just thought I drop a line to see how everyone is holding up mentally. There’s been not much on the tube today and it’s cold and wet down here.
*Sigh* is an understatement for sure.
I thought it was just for the toys!50 years ago, that was the best jackoff material for a 15 year old. Hate to think of it being used for ***-wipe.
Probably not, by then lots of the people that have had it will be immune and not spread it any longer. So until a vaccine, will the tournament be canceled next year when it comes back?
This **** is really messing with my business; I’m in restaurant industry. It’s destroying me since last Friday after lunch. Completely destroying me.
I'm in the same exact boat as you except we have been together for almost 20 years and married almost 16.Very sad. It still doesn’t seem real. My wife doesn’t watch game with me. Usually leaves the room when I get red assed. She ask me yesterday what was wrong with me. I reminded her the tourney got cancelled. She said oh you are not over that yet. Married 21 years and she still doesn’t get me.
Not really. Those liquid diets can make you need a little extra.Since Kroger was out of everything I like to eat, having no toilet paper became moot.
I know I went to Walmart to shop today and they hardly had anything in the food section... My daughter is off school until April 10th!Not bad in Northern Indiana.
Feels like a power outage without sports
Amazed at the toilet paper shelves everywhere. Now frozen pizzas are in high demand.. lol
Kids home from school for a month worried baseball season will prolly get canceled.
Wife came home from Work today and asked me how Kentucky did today:uzi:
It is a small python but I have some fun with it.“Python”- wait, what? Don’t know exactly your whereabouts but I know we ain’t too far apart. Hope you got good insurance on him. I shoot first and ask questions later.
“The Horseshoe” surely we can’t be thinking of the same place. Innerds can’t take two places like that.
I'm wondering if Ozzy Osbourne isn't to blame lolI'm depressed, we all look forward to these tournaments and this time of year. Some bozo in China eats a bat and poof it's gone.
Be a good time to drop 10K into the market and make some good money on it.I’m hoping to get caught up on some consulting work. Make a few extra bucks.
I hadn't ate in there since I was a teenager. I was very disappointed, won't be going back.A Hopkinsville staple. I’m not the world’s largest fan of it. When I was a kid you couldn’t eat in there hardly unless you wanted to come out smelling of smoke. Place was so acrid it looked like the English Moors. I haven’t eaten there in moons. It’s a ding to my Hopkinsville native card for sure; however I more than make up for it with my nearly weekly trips to Ferrell’s.
