Life without UK basketball sucks for sure. And while here in Western Kentucky we haven’t had any real coronavirus diagnosis, we are still a little on edge about it. TP is scarce and hand sanitizer is a thing made of legends in long forgotten lore. Folks are staying mostly indoors today for a lot of reasons.

Personally, I go from not being worried about this at all to being somewhat concerned. Just with my past dealings with my parents’ health issues I’m tired of watching people get sick and hurt. So, for me I’m used to hearing bad health news and I sit on the fence of waiting for a big “bomb” so to speak on this Covid-19 outbreak.

Just thought I drop a line to see how everyone is holding up mentally. There’s been not much on the tube today and it’s cold and wet down here.

*Sigh* is an understatement for sure.

I can't help believing that the news media is going overboard with the dire predictions. We will probably never know the real answer to that question.They seem to cry wolf when a Pomeranian walks past

Very sad. It still doesn’t seem real. My wife doesn’t watch game with me. Usually leaves the room when I get red assed. She ask me yesterday what was wrong with me. I reminded her the tourney got cancelled. She said oh you are not over that yet. Married 21 years and she still doesn’t get me.

I think these precautions are as much about not overwhelming the health care industry as it is about caring about people or saving lives.Some things need to be done but not over done,the media is deep in the overdone area.

Disappearing toilet paper seems to be an issue everywhere. I am trying to stay positive.Spring is coming up, trees are blooming so that means if you cant find toilet paper you can use fresh green leaves. FYI, Magnolia leaves cover a lot of ground.

My son is in the health care business as well.I worry about him and his family.He has a 10 month old (that I just know will get an offer from UK when he is 18) Son says it is all about flattening the curve over the next month or so.

“Coyote hunted”- that’s like me, getting out in nature cures a lot of ills. Tried fishing yesterday at the creek nearby, but too much water. Still felt good to get out. Lots of good stuff coming up, fishing, turkey hunting, dry land fish hunting. Good to be alive, even without sports.

Just doing the same old thing. Went out to get a few things last night for my regular weekly shopping and saw two grown men fighting over big bags of dog food. Could that be considered sports? i.e. wrestling or boxing? I'm desperate here for something, anything sports related at this point!!! lol

Im pretty depressed. I am off this weekend and took off work next weekend to binge on basketball. I’m watching Hunters on Amazon Prime to fill the void and while it’s entertaining and fantastic, I’d rather be watching basketball. Guess I’ll be canceling my time off next weekend and will be working instead. Sounds terrible.

Also, I finally had to admit to defeat and reschedule my vacations for April and May. One was easy to reschedule because we’re just driving, but the other is going to be a pain with rescheduling flights. Delta is too busy to reschedule anyone that isn’t departing within 72 hours.
