Watching Bucknell vs Boston U. Might be the whitest game I’ve ever seen. Mainly style of game. Like watching a game at the Northeast Y in the early aughts. Not sure how this even qualifies as Division 1.

Belmont-Murray State is low key consistently one of the best conference tourney games every year, it seems. I always enjoy that one.
Rack this. Great game.

Today kicks-off the best 5 week stretch of sports:
  1. Handful of conference championship games today.
  2. Full week of conference tournaments.
  3. Selection Show.
  4. 3 long weekends of great games.
  5. Put a bow on the NCAA-T with the Masters.

Yes, Ashton Hagans was paid — in cash — to attend the University of Kentucky two years ago. Also, he was paid directly, not through any intermediaries or advisors or family members. And not only has he kept this cash for two years, he has now decided to go on social media to show everyone this cash that he received two years ago.

Makes perfect sense.

If you go searching up broke high school kid's rap videos on YouTube you'll quickly learn that pulling together a stack of cash to use as a prop is not nearly as difficult as one might think. This proves nothing.

-last spring break we were headed to dinner to visit a local friend in Mt pleasant, sc. Got to the center where the restaurant was...and saw one teenage boy taking photos/video of another flashing a wad of cash. Then they switched roles...it was nice to see them sharing.

Hey man this has nothing to do with “black youth antics” and everything to do with one of players posting a huge wad of cash online, which is incredibly stupid on his part.

I disagree. It’s a common thing on social media and he’s not the first college athlete to do it either. I got no problems with it because kids do dumb ****. Especially on social media.

raised a black teenager. Got more insight into this then your shitastic *** who should have been run from here long ago.

Interesting. So if your son posted a video on Tick Tock posing with guns and flashing gang signs would you chalk it up to black youth exuberance or do you at least have a conversation with him about it? I really want an answer on this one because I've become keenly aware from folks like you that we should have high expectations for white kids and reduced expectations for black kids.

And by the way, I don't care about the video. I care about the series of unfortunate decisions Hagans has been making. I hope he gets his head on straight, just for the sake of his life and future basketball career.

WTF are you talking about. You're being an idiot and taking the stupidest position possible.

HEY OLD WHITEY STOP BEING RACIST BECAUSE A BLACK KID INEXPLICABLY POSTED A WAD OF CASH! JUST BOSS CRACKER KEEPING EVERYONE DOWN!

What in the holy hell are you even talking about? And f*** your street cred. Glad you raised a son. Don't care if he's black. Doesn't earn you any points.

-dont disagree in general, but (for better or worse) AH isn't just another kid on social media. He is held to a higher standard as a scholarship athlete, with great gifts come great responsibility. Especially when he has been given *ample* training and direction as to what to do as a representative of his school/program.

-its a bad decision/look, period. Hopefully it doesn't hurt him and his team too much. We'll see.

None of those people play for the University of Kentucky so we don’t really GAF when they do dumb stuff.
