i was at the game he is a very active very athletic big who runs the floor like a deer . He is a very good rebounder and shot blocker . He scores with allyopps and and power dunks around the rim . Decent touch on his free throws so might be able to extend his game outside a little later in his development. , His base needs to get stronger he will be easy to knock off of blocks with better comp. He also needs to develop his skill level around the basket ( drop steps ect . He is a good looking prospect!!

Banchero and Cliff to finish the class ? Works for me . But I suspect it will be Banchero and a big we aren't even talking about ( maybe a grad transfer) . Along with a 2nd pg as Quick maxey and hagans all will be gone next season.
Would be just what we need to finish off the class although Banchero swears he's staying in 2021.

Cal should point to all his bigs that were 1AD and say to Cliff "there's not many coaches who can get you an NBA pay check after just one season.."

Good for Cliff! Nice to see him showing out. I’m still not quite sold on him, but if we have an open spot, he could be an intriguing four-year prospect if he could continue to develop. It just seems like he disappears at times against higher level talent, but we’ll see. It would be nice to have a more physically imposing body on the team going forward.

I like Omoruyi's potential. He has decent size now, but he looks like he has the frame to add 15-20 lbs. of muscle. He looks mobile and it sounds like he has good instincts. If he has good hands, too; then I don't see anything not to like.

Quickley, gone? I don't see it.... not NBA type ready (yet)....not leaving for more PT. He stays to try getting an NBA draft..no better place for him. (He might decide that the NBA is not for him and take a paycheck in Europe or similar).

I would love to have a Montgomery back who has developed a strong post up game - a la Enoch, Tillman, Wesson. I think he could develop better post moves and passing ability than any of those three, although I don't believe he will ever become a good shooter in college (not enough time realistically, I think).

Right now, Omoruyi might be our best option. Just not many elite bigs available in this class.

A Jackson/Omoruyi combo at the 5 might be our best bet next season.

Need Banchero, but will he reclassify?

if he just rebounds & blocks shots, he would be well worth it...scoring would be a plus

It’s always weird to me when people do these things on what Cal should say to a recruit. Like yeah man I’m sure he’s never thought of that line, what a genius thing to say.

Great shot blockers and rebounders are so hard to find, of the bigs we are recruiting is he the best at those two things. Shot blocking rebounder to go with Ware's offense inside would be ideal and think Jackson would be that energy guy inside.
