As stated earlier, and I’m pretty excited to see what this kid can bring with a little leash to “just play”.
Sort of like how Juzang was solid the other day.Whitney is a decent and capable shooter, plays decent defense, is a very strong weakside player, and rebounds ok
The good news is that since we play positionless basketball, we don't need to stubbornly play either of them just to have a big out there, let alone both of them.Montgomery and Richards are 2 of the worst primary rotation players of the Cal era. The game is painful to watch when they are in. When both are in, it's unwatchable. They are role players at best.
Like when you create your 2K player but he doesn’t have any skills yet.Montgomery is what I think if an alien civilization decided to create a basketball player after observation from a far. Certainly looks the part but has no feel or understanding of the game in any meaningful way.
The real-life equivalent of that is when you're tall and born with some natural ability, but you don't work hard, get in the weight room, or take things seriously.Like when you create your 2K player but he doesn’t have any skills yet.
