Not the coach. The owner of the team. Hes a billionaire who owns a horse farm in Lexington. His name is Kenny Troutt.
oh hell, horse farm in Lexington? Done deal. I’m gonna start tracking planes to follow Cunningham to lex now.

And didn't Kuminga say that he wanted to play for a loaded team also (or something to that effect)?Believe Cade and Greg Brown have a connection to the Kentucky through the guy guy who founded their AAU team the Texas Titans. this is also the same team that produced Julius Randle. As of now I'd say Cade is Kentucky's to lose. If we get Greg Brown i believe you will start to see the chips fall for Paolo Banchero as well. this would set up to be the greatest class in college basketball history.
Not sure if hes from Lexington or not but he's the one who pushed Julius Randle to us last minute. So this could and should play out in our favor.oh hell, horse farm in Lexington? Done deal. I’m gonna start tracking planes to follow Cunningham to lex now.
Yes but if we get those guys we will not get Kuminga. Just my opinion. Kuminga says a lot of things and I'm not sure what to believe with him. e's also a kid that says he wants to be on a winning team with other talents but I believe he wants to control an offense and be the focal point. I wouldn't trade any of those dudes for Kuminga either. I'd rather have paolo and Cunningham. And didn't Kuminga say that he wanted to play for a loaded team also (or something to that effect)?
Ha, that was tongue in cheek. Of course Askew will be coming, but he won't say exactly that tonight. He'll say I'm committing to Kentucky but will stay in the 2021 class, then decide if I want to move it up after my season is over. Not expecting Askew to commit and eventually reclass to go along with Cade?
My dream scenario for rounding out this class would be Cade, Askew, Brown, Banchero. In your opinion, what is the chances of ending our class with this squad?
I'd say give it some time. Also I don't really care what Slater has to say. As you can see him and Jody Demling were the last to jump on and change their CBs for Askew to Kentucky.Slater being so confident he's going to OSU and Corey Evans still saying OSU are what's giving me pause.

Or (I believe) the FBI scare leveled $$$ the playing field.Cal finally had enough and said "Hold my beer".
I’m with you on Corey Evans. Slater seems to like to make public comments and picks to troll UK fans.I'm with you. It feels like the others are predicting and those guys are reporting.
It's not like they aren't "hearing" what the other analysts are at this point. So the difference of opinion probably comes down to standard of credibility. Slater and Evans may want something more concrete than is currently true.
Is Mama going to be topping that squirrel with some of her gravy..........throw in a couple of those biscuits in and I'm in...........[cheers]We’ll celebrate with some of Mama’s finest squirrel, Bill. I also have water from a glacier in Alaska on tap.
All are welcome!
I don't know anything about the recruiting process, I'm just a UK fan but I don't believe Cunningham is going anywhere to play any position but PG. Where does he and Askew both fit in if Askew commits to UK tonight and reclassify's to 2020? Is Askew gonna come in and backup Cade when he starts anywhere else? Clarke or Boston probably plays SG and the other SF. If Askew commits to us tonight it makes me wonder what's gonna happen with Cunningham.

Mr. Obvious, Dave was clearly joking. Askewdave cade is a point guard

There may not be an OKST staff in a short time.If it happens I wonder what that means for his brother on OKST staff.
Evan Daniels for sure doesn’t change picks just on a single visit. And he did. That is what has me somewhat confident in Cade to UKI wouldn’t look too much into that, yet.
David Sisk discussed Cade Cunningham with Corey (he mentioned it in the Sources Say podcast) and from what David said, Corey wants to wait it out before he makes any changes. Essentially, he said he doesn’t just change picks based on a single visit; it seems like Corey is just a guy who wants to be more patient and do his due diligence. He just wants to be correct and absolute.
Also, I think the family factor really makes people pause simply because of conventional wisdom. You just wouldn’t expect him to go against it. Hopefully, he does, through.

I hope we get all the freshman that you have listed, but I just can't believe that we basically have 1 player coming back from this years team (unless they win the title!). I think you have to factor in Brooks coming back as of now. Now unfortunately for Quickley he is gonna be in a tough spot, unless he is ok playing a backup role again he will prob leave. If it happens the way I think the UK coaches hope it will:
G - Cunningham - Askew
G - Boston** - Askew - Allen
G - Clarke - Fletcher - Allen
F - Brown* - Ware
F - Banchero - Grad transfer (or Jackson)
* I also think there's a good chance someone like Brooks returns here.
** Assuming Quickley/Juzang develop enough to leave after this year
Askew as 6th man. He still gets 20 to 30 minutes/game as the top option off the bench.
UK can also go four out with Cunningham and Askew playing together. Askew shot 41+% from three on the AU circuit and shot 46% from three during the EYBL portion. You can play him off the ball and not lose a beat. If he returns for a second season, he's ready to run the show.

Evan is usually a guy that holds out until he is absolutely certain as well. Everyone got played on the McDaniels (except Washington).I agree, it’s certainly a good sign! However, it’s not concretely for certain (at least publicly); Evan is liable to flip (I.e. Jaden McDaniels) if something changes. I believe Corey is just a guy who will hold out until he’s absolutely certain. Again, the family factor just makes people hesitate. However, I hope for the best with UK!

That's a tough tough team to defend. Especially if Cade, Clarke, and Boston can shoot 35+% from 3.
I don't think we all need to get caught up in the traditional positions with a team like this (which is why I like that you listed them as GWho dribbles the ball up the court will technically be the PG but with Clarke/Cade/Askew and to a lesser extent Boston the primary initiator may be the person with the best matchup advantage.
Don't forget about Fletcher - athletically he is elite and if he can use those tools to play solid D, he will get PT. O Wait, you didn't.. haha.. i see his name listed now.
I have a useless gut instinct that we may add Omoruyi too. He is more of a modern center because of his movement skills and Cal/KennyP could probably develop him into a solid draft pick in a few years. Isaiah Jackson or Omoruyi will be a target IMO because Cal loves to have at least 1 long rim protector at his disposal.

Honoring his word? I respect the decision, but I bet Washington, knowing they face an uphill battle with Kentucky, would rather he just save them the time and money.
Unless they really think they have a chance.
Even with Cade OK St will be a five hundred team unless they load up on a lot of pansy's teams early in the year , you know teams like Indiana LOLI’m with you on Corey Evans. Slater seems to like to make public comments and picks to troll UK fans.
At the end of the day, if we end up with Askew but not Cade, that’s still a win. OSU isn't a threat to anyone next year.

Here’s my thinking on IF Askew and Cunningham both commit to UK. Right now I think in Devin’s mind he will stay 2021, he’s said it repeatedly. However, I think his Dad is of the mind that he goes 2020 and gets to practice with a super class, before becoming the best PG in the nation as a sophomore. Not that he won’t play, but his main role will be as the understudy to Cunningham. His Dad seems to see the big picture and would be OK with Devin playing 15mpg on a Final 4 team. The thing with Askew right now is his lack of physical maturity, and let me tell you I don’t think it’s a bad thing. He looks like he’s 15, I think he ends up growing to 6’5 or 6’6 by the time the season starts next year. Getting a year of acclimating to the college game while practicing with alphas and hitting the weight room, will mean he will be ready to lead the team, break out and become a top 10 pick the next season.
What in the hell did you just say. You lost me at Mama Boucher.Back in ‘98 I led the greatest coup d'état this country had ever seen.
I survived Helen ‘Mama’ Boucher and convinced her to let Mr. Coach Klein ‘take the wheel’ (not her beloved Lord and Savior) to coach her baby boy [Bobby Boucher]—the original GOAT; And I’m not talking about the one behind Mama’s house...
Hell, I even thwarted that Red Beaulieu’s tomfoolery with the NC-two-A that he brought on my Bobby and our prestigious program. Needless to say, they still didn’t keep me from my Bourbon Bowl title.
If Cal can pull this off ... he may have completed the unthinkable! Imagine, the greatest recruiting coup since Mr. Coach Klein and the ‘waterboy’. What a time to be alive!
Very true.Cal has done it several times,
Wall and Bledsoe
Harrison and Ulis
Ulis and Murray
Fox and Briscoe/monk
Green and SGA...
