This. The NCAA might as well get rid of the sit out rule completely if they're gonna start granting waivers for cases like this.

Glad to see the kid will finally get some coaching and development. Smaller salary, though, I’d imagine.

I'm too lazy to do research, but if I'm not mistaken, not a single one of those players are big time in the NBA (or even partly-big-time). Which proves you're point. I'd just be curious to see the data on them all.

Embiid is.

Other than that, Wiggins got paid, though he might go down as the worst max-contract player ever. Jackson is looking like a huge bust, and making news for all the wrong reasons. Oubre, Diallo, and Selden are carving out a living for now. The others are either over as possible NBA players, or haven't had a sniff yet.

The best player to ever play at Kansas was one of my all time favorite players and his name was Wilt Chamberlain.
