Zion skillset

[doc morgan]

I wish Wisconsin had given up before the season ever started but they beat our super team. Too many of our fans give up too easily. Have a little faith and enjoy the ride. Zion is no world beater.

He’s a 6’5” PF/C with great athleticism. Bullies his way to the rim cause he’s 270lb playing against guys 150-200lb. Good vision and handles for a big but poor shooter. I’m anxious to see how his HS game translates to college.

Yep. Happens every year when a kid picks a different college. After checking other boards this is what I found through the years

After SGA decommitted from FL and pick UK

“He isn’t that good, he will be stuck on the bench for four years”

When Randle picked UK
“He won’t be able to over power college players”

Ulis picked UK over MSU

“He will be there for four years and be recruited over”

Noel

“He will get pushed around and get scored on easily”

Anthony Davis
“His highlights just showed him dunking, he won’t be able to do that in college because he’s skinny”. Later “Thomas Robinson is better and will dominate him”

Please don’t be those dummy fans

Well just to play devil's advocate, I didn't see what all the hype was about with Zion before he chose Duke and I still don't see it. Is he much more than a dunker in transition? His jump shot looks a mess and I haven't seen any dribbling that I couldn't do in high school. I'm not old enough to know what Barkley looked like in college, so maybe I'm off base, but I see more red flags than I'd expect for a top 3 recruit.

If he did come here, he’d foul out in the first 5 minutes of the game. He will be able to get away with anything at Duke though.

So sad

Honestly he is so damn good he can fit into any system. Especially theirs. He will be living in the paint and average over 20 pts a game. He is imo the best player cal has ever recruited not to choose uk

You're so wrong I don't even know where to start, so I'm not going to.

I’ve scrolled through the thread to see lots of people saying how exceptional the kids speed and handle are yet I’ve seen no links to videos showing it. Once again not doubting he kid I just have only seen him yam. Which he does quite good
