I will reply back because I am not the one complaining about political threads then continue to post on them. I am actively monitoring this thread, I enjoy threads like this.
My point was that as soon as you realized this was a thread you didn't agree with, you could have simply not replied at all. But what happened was the opposite, you knew politics were being discussed, then proved my point about the lack of self control you continued to post. When you go down the list of threads, there is no obligation or requirement to post. If you don't post, no one replies to your post and you are not included in the notifications, you do realize that right? It isn't rude to leave me, or anyone else on read. If the discussion has played out, or when you realize you are in the wrong, you can simply bow out gracefully and move on to the next subject.
You know you didn't have to reply to me right. But you decided to anyway. You say you enjoy this thread, so you could have easily moved on. But like I said you also have no self control. It’s funny that you dont realize this as well. I can play this mind-numbing gymnastics as well.
Now would be the time to bow out gracefully. My role in this discussion is calling you out for your complaints. My self control isn't called into question, because I was not the one complaining about the topic.
But to recap, You complained about the thread and cited board rules about acceptable topics. That was all you. I don't have a problem with the thread, so me replying and discussing the topic would be considered expected behavior. You are like the people on those 1st Amendment auditor videos where the dudes are standing in public videoing people, and inevitably some moron goes up to the camera and complains they are being videoed. If you don't want to be videoed don't walk up to a camera. In this case, if you don't want to talk politics, don't reply to a thread discussing politics. It is actually quite simple.
