I thought people are saying Alexander was going to commit this week. Maybe he'll join the Wildcat Signing day on Thursday?

Wendell Carter also being discussed as committing this week. May be a really good week for Rat Face by getting Carter and Trent.

For some reason, I thought Carter already gave K his commitment. If he hasn't, he might as well get it over with. We all know the kid is going to Duke. I'm not one of Carter's biggest fans so when he decides on Duke, so what? With Petty probably headed to Bama, we need to get Washington on board at the least. If we can add Richards as well, and it looks like it's likely, that's even better news. Our frontcourt will be off to a great start and one less worry we will have in recruiting.

Still think Petty will be a Cat. Think Alexander is a back-up for Diallo and Taylor. Still really want Knox tho.

I think we get Young, Alexander, Washington, and Richards this Fall.

But my track record is terrible. I thought we would get Simmons, Alkins, Bridges, and Bolden last Fall.

I also thought we had no shot with Bam.

Yes, its clear I have no clue when it comes to recruiting.

Avery has put the full court press on Petty. Avery is pretty straight forward like Cal so it is going to be a hard decision for the young man.

KSR has article saying we are going to muss On Bamba and few other studs. I dont buy it with Cal. Cant remember who it was claiming this. Lol 8-9 schollies available and we miss on everyone. I dont think so they can believe what they want. Same was said aboyt Mink, Bam, Murray ,Jones, just to name a few. Cal lands Studs every year.

Petty for sure is headed to Bama.(bad decision) Think Bossi has us getting Green(which I would take because we need a pg and can't afford to wait on Young) Think he is way off on Bamba and we will get him in the spring. Knox remains up in the Air but we need to get a 2g besides Alexander. I am holding out hope on Lonnie Walker. Think its a done deal on Washington and Richards.

Class in my opinion: Washington, Richards, Alexander, Bamba, Walker, Green and lets keep our fingers crossed on Knox.

Knox's family gave Duke first call on if they wanted to go first or last for Officials. That and the fact that Duke isn't recruiting any other SFs, he's headed to Duke imo. Re: Green vs. Young, Green seems to fit the UK model more than Young...

Word of advice. Never count on anything in recruiting. It changes like the wind. Also I don't believe the Knox family called Duke to ask them anything. (Im sure thats a Duke Spin) Lot of time to go in his recruitment and I like Cal chances over the rat fink if everything is a level playing field.

I would be thrilled to get Green. Green should help us with Bamba and Walker. I am not talking package deals, but it sounds like those two would like to play with Green.

The class you list there is what I would like to see. We need at least three guards to rotate at the 1 and 2 spots and those three would be great.

Then a front line of Washington, Bamba, and Richards plus whoever comes back (hopefully SKJ, Hump, and Wynyard) would be awesome.

splinter will lose Jackson, jones, allen, giles, tatum, Jefferson and maybe bolden next year.
he will have to really reload, and I am sure he will bring one of the top classes but it will be his first year of relying almost 100% on freshman. That will take a major toll on him. I see him duplicating the GT fake pass out a few times to get calls.
might be the final straw to push his phony *** to retirement. Looking forward to watching capel **** the bed when having to carry on the puke tradition.

I could be wrong and I am most of the time, but Bamba just looks the part of a Cal/Kentucky player. If the kid decides to play elsewhere, I believe he will be making a huge mistake. We all as Kentucky fans should expect Cal will have a down year with recruiting. The way Cal recruits, it's crazy the dude has destroyed recruiting the way he has since being here. The good news for Kentucky is the fact that even during a down year for Cal at recruiting is still going to be a good year if it were any other coach/school. If Cal has a down year in recruiting, look out for the following class. I don't think college basketball wants to see an angry Cal recruiting. He will come back with another historic class, and most likely bring back a couple of kids from the class before. If we have a down year with recruiting, you can count on being back in the title hunt the following college basketball season.

I feel pretty good about all of those except Knox.

I have to agree with the Dukie that he will be a Blue Devil.

I am fine with splitting with Duke over Knox and Bamba.

Duke will probably look like this (top 8 rotation players):

G Jackson/Coleman
G Kennard
G Trent
F Knox/DeLaurier
F Carter/Jeter

Hopefully, we will look something like this (top 8 rotation players):

G Green/Alexander
G Walker
F Washington
F Killeya-Jones/Richards
F Bamba/Humphries

I think both fan bases would be and should be happy with that.

My guess is UK lands Green, Alexander, Washington, Richards, and possibly Walker.

It's a shame the Lexington kid is going to end up at Western probably. Wonder why Cal hasnt offered. Must be pretty sure he is getting 3 guards or maybe 4. Only time will tell.
