That’s right. Man I used to get so mad when I’d record a game on Directv and it would go long and I’d miss the end. Ended up having to set the show that was coming on after to record just in case.

We have hulu+livetv and we hate it. It was good initially. There are times when the volume is way to wonky. It'll get really loud or low volume at random times. The "tv" or "home" feature used to show everything live at that time. Now it only does it sometimes. We're going back to cable for the better picture and no random buffering. Fwiw, our internet is FAST. Hulu just sucks anymore. I have to reboot it a few times a week as well. Screw internet tv. I'm done with it. It's also $90 a month now compared to the $45 we were paying just a few years ago.

I've had both Hulu Live and YouTube. Not a lot of difference to me but I dropped Hulu and went with YT. Neither is cheap but you'd probably be happy with either of those two, I think. I do like the multi-view of YT but I don't use it much. Menu/guide sucks on most all streaming services. That's where I miss old DirecTV.

You might check out Philo as a supplement if you like the History Channel. It has no sports but has channels like History, American Heroes, Smithsonian. Animal Planet, several movie channels, old tv with DVR and a nice interface for $25 a month. I find myself watching it most of the time when there isn't a game on.

Does hulu have the unlimited dvr like yttv?

It does. I have it set up to record UK and Dallas Cowboys. Problem with it is say UK and Georgia will play today. Not only will it record it, but it will also record any game Georgia plays so there's a TON of deleting.

Couple years ago we ditched Dish Network and went YouTube TV and haven’t looked back. We love it!

Man I love this feature comes in great use and it came in great use tonight so we could go out for dinner and come back and watch the game in it’s entirety.
