Was just wondering if 2020 has impacted anyone's fandom. Personally speaking it has impacted mine. I just seem to care less about sports in general.

I think I was headed there anyway. Or maybe I'd say it shifted. I've been more into football the last few years. Cal's style of offense and continually new rosters have impacted my interest in the basketball team. I was never into pro sports.

For all manner of reasons, I haven't watched any of the bowl games. I've just listened to 3 of our basketball games while I did chores instead, took a nap during one, haven't watched any other basketball.

But I haven't missed any UK football games or Bengals gsmes. I wasn't quite all in on wall to wall football when the seasons began but as they progressed that more ore less went back to how I've always been.

It's clear all the different societal factors have impacted all of us. Not going to tailgate or getting down to Rupp has sucked.

I missed sports .. but then I feel numb watching this team . Kind of don't understand why i haven't broken something. Maybe we just know there are a few more important things going on in the world . UK basketball has always brought me such happiness .. I hope this team turns it around so I can feel that happiness again

Definitely not as into sports this year as I have been in years past. Usually a big baseball and college football fan, in addition to UK bball. Don't think I've watched a single full football game this entire season. It has nothing to do with our down year, but I've also been only half heartedly watching the Cats, too. Everything just feels....different. Never felt like baseball season, or football season, or basketball season, or Thanksgiving, or Christmas, or whatever season has come or gone. It's all just a bit numb to me this year.

Hopefully 2021 is better.

I thought I missed sports. Now I just watch UK games, follow boxscores for my fantasy football team, and spend the time I usually would on sports with my family or playing competitive Madden(this game is very awful this year). I don't care what anyone says. It is just different without stadiums/arenas full of fans going nuts. At least for me. It's hard to cheer for teams when it feels like you are doing it by yourself.
