Your Thoughts on Willie Tonight

No one is even contemplating Willie shouldn't be out there. That's ludicrous.

Willie is an enigma. He seems to be in his own little world sometimes, but that's not always a bad thing.

I like him a lot and he does a lot of things that don't show up in the box score.

I thought he did great. Karl was ON FIRE offensively, why have willie also try and post his man up? We blocked 7 or 8 shots, but we also gave up 4 or 5 putbacks because the help defender (usually Willie) was out of position from trying to block.

We needed Willies D more than O last night and what he did to push grant to the corner was fantastic. Last year vs Wisconsin we couldn't herd Jackson so he got a great look at the basket. Not so much this year (though it was a pretty good shot, glad Andrew and Trey triple teamed as well)

Made the 2 biggest defensive plays of the night, so overall it was good. Wish they could have gotten him in the offensive game, since a 6'6 player was guarding him.

But the great thing about this team is that one player can have a bad/average night and someone else is going to step up. Last night was Towns night.

I think we all love Willie,but he stood around a lot on our offensive end and just watched. Rarely went to the offensive glass, but none of the other guys did either. Willie is going to have to be completely in the game mentally if we are to win this thing. Only two to go and we have made history.
