I think it depends on his attitude. If he is remorseful and apologizes to the University, the Staff, his teammates, the fans, and truely means it, a two or three game suspension seems fair.I think it should be harsher than the Michigan kid because he wasn’t given a DUI.

If you read the description of what happened with Michigan kid and how it was handled by authorities it probably was a DUI as well.

I’m still having a hard time understanding how crashing the AD’s car late at night, stumbling around when the police get there and then lying to them about your name and the fact that you were the driver, gets you a 1 game suspension. If that’s the standard then Young should be back for NW.

I don't understand what Simpson's violation has to do with Young's. What did Young do? Were there any previous violations but unreported? Is he repentant? Is there a behavioral pattern about which we don't know?

Three games seem right to me.

You may both be right but it is so unfair that the Michigan kid gets a pass
and our player gets hammered (no pun intended). Young owes his teammates a serious apology.
I think we win that last game if he was there.

Would love it if NCAA ruled it was a benefit that makes Simpson ineligible and they have to forfeit games he has played since the accident. Wishful thinking, I know

If that's the standard. Young should have played against Maryland.

Michigan pimped Simpson...and they're whores :it's all about Winning / the real & perceptual Benjamins!

The most ridiculous part of the Simpson suspension IMO was the fact that Michigan fans originally thought that it had to do with his behavior inside an Ann Arbor bar that day. Luckily for him it was just wrecking the ADs car afterwards.

Yea, I saw on the Michigan board that he was being a drunk idiot at the bar causing a scene and then pissed on the bar outside. 1 game made sense for that. Crashing the ADs car and lying about your name etc should have been worse
