While I can understand there's no way OU will crack the top 4 this week, his points are as reasonable as the rankings I saw last week. He and I are definitely on the same page regarding IF we win out. Not sure which team we'd jump past but believe we're in if we just....win baby. 
OU is #2 in Sagarin rankings (which has kept us in top 5 even with us ranked 10-15). Feel this may be our blue chip. Just win out and that may put us in driver's seat and possibly ahead of Bama in the end...before the playoffs.
He's not alone with that.
I've read two other august reporters that have parroted the same take.
Like he said...OU has had by considerable opinion, the most sexy, distinctive win by far this year in beating the Bears. (heavily paraphrased by me)

My guess is we would pass Bama or ND IF all 4 win out AND we win out. I honestly think one of the current top 4 will lose, maybe 2 of them. It's all for naught if we don't just win baby, win.
