Appreciate your comments but I am a realist. It looks like 3-4 of the best defense players will not be playing Friday due to injury. The drop offs to their replacements is significant. Daniels is likely out and he has played well against Linderbaum. Iowa will run the ball better than is thought against the defensive players that will be on the field this Friday for Nebraska.

Iowa under Ferentz is generally strong in the fundamentals. Not going to beat teams with overwhelming talent or style, but will be solid on both lines, and make few dumb mistakes.

While there can be a lot of animosity on message boards I can tell you that I have attended two games in Lincoln and the fans have been top notch. When all is said and done we are all good, decent Midwest folks, Well at least about 99%. If you get a chance go, You won’t regret it.
