I came into this season believing this was a top 15 team. However, after watching their development, and reading all these articles about B1G championships and Final Four appearances. I am now firmly in Cinderella season mode. Am I setting myself up for a disappointment? Are you all there?
Is this the year we finally get the run reserved for everyone else?
In two decades on these boards..I feel like RutgersAl now.

In theory, everyone could come back next year and they can legit contend for a national title, but it feels like a lot to expect that to happen. It would require JY and Geo to spend another year in college (do they want to do that? JY is at least 24 years old at this point), Ron not to declare for the draft (his stock is soaring) and Myles to stay for graduate school (the most likely in my opinion). All of these are possible (some more likely than others), but the chances of them all happening? Very low.

My point is that this is the year to dream. Like Scangg said, embrace it.

Depth is the only concern...But I expect a really good fun ride this year. Next year- we may experience magic.

I hope they also never expand the RAC. I would like to see a lot of updates but it's size and the way it is designed...it is near impossible for teams coming in here when we aren't even a good team. But as a team that plays incredible defense, finally has an explosive offense and just hustles on every play- opposing teams will feel like they are in a cat 5 hurricane when they visit and we have a team this good.

You can argue that Rutgers was the most impacted program from the cancellation of last season ...
we should also be the program who takes advantage of the Covid rules the most. Bring the group back. Combined with the development of the young guys and we can have a truly elite team. Make up for last season and some

I feel like this will be a magical season and I’m eager to watch every game, all pre game and post game interviews. It’s like reading an excellent book and at end of each chapter, I can’t wait to find out what happens in the next game.

I know the season will have twists, turns, and surprises as we play in the toughest conference in the country. The composure of the team and the confidence they display on the court and in their interviews leaves me to believe that Lucy won’t yank the ball away at the last second.

Savor each chapter as the season unfolds and it’s perfectly legitimate to believe in the great ending we all crave will happen.
