In 2013, a few of us realized Mullen was never going to be able to compete against Freeze and Saban - and we were right.
If Dak hadn't willed a win in the 2013 egg bowl, Mullen was ready to throw in the towel. The only other time Mullen beat Freeze was after Freeze was *** deep in Hookergate.

Fewer still realize HUD would have never been the answer at MSU. You are probably correct, if Mullen had left after 2013, we would have been stuck with that embarrassment and the product on the field would look much worse than what we got now. We will get something better after Leach if we don't fire him too soon.
