Holy **** some of you are flat out obsessed and insane for thinking you're going to get answers on twitter or message boards. We get it, our coaching staff has dropped the ball and hasn't kept a lid on things, but I've never seen SPS like this on the same issue multiple days in a row and I think it's getting worse actually.

Is there not anything else this time of year you could focus on and get some some joy out of????

It’s the Holidays and most are off and have some free time on their hands. Today marks the day the bowls really kick off so we will have other football to talk about.

Can't we all talk about how the awesome Big Green Eggs and Yheti coolers we all got have been working out???

I got a sick Yheti mug. 20oz. Fits in my cup holder perfectly.

The Yheti mug even has a maroon colored strip around the bottom so it's easy to hold and not slip outta your hand.

I’m headed to the liquor store soon. I’ll break out my Tumbler. Bourbon, Edam Cheese and Sausage. Happy New Year! Bring it on.

Dude, I'm jealous. Might have to make me a charcuterie board tonight. I'm at work. Past 2 days are a drag but market melting up, so at least we're making money. Still pretty boring here though.

Hope everyone is getting plenty of time off!

This year and last year was pretty volatile. Hard to imagine something like that happening again with the Fed on hold and possible more rate cuts/QE in the future. I'd just stick to your current plan, and rebalance every quarter or couple months if some things increase in value too much your allocation gets out of whack.

I have a pot stock, APHA. that's been a speculative position of mine past few months. It's no more than 3-5% of my account that I'm in at around $5.60. I'm hoping pot stocks have been beat up enough from tax loss selling that they get a bump first of the year. APHA is actually profitable and 2 consecutive quarters of positive EBITDA and they raised their forecast. Good foothold in Germany cannabis market too. It's speculative though. Only have 1 or 2 of those in your portfolio at once and be prepared to lose it. That's why it's speculative. Some folks just hear that word and don't actually understand what it means, they just think they're getting a "hot stock tip."

Happy to do it. I'm a junkie for investing, but please, please please... I stress the word speculative on APHA if you're thinking about that one. If you have some room to speculate and you like that sector, that's the only one I like bc of it's cheaper valuation and profitability. The industry itself has many headwinds many of which are gov't related bc they haven't been able to keep up with demand due to lack of resources to approve and issue permits. Typical gov't for ya (speaking about Canada in particular here). Just make sure you do your own homework on individual stocks. I'm talking reading up on them at least 20-30min a day (after you spent considerable time studying the stock), so that over time you'll know the company inside and out and don't have to be bewildered with some news out of nowhere that hits the stock.
