We’ve seen Grayson come up short all season in end of game situations. Before the game I was really hoping K would fool everyone and give it to Trent or Bagley if we needed a last second bucket. Then the shot went up and I thought... wow... Grayson has been saving it all season for this moment.... then it bounced a bunch and the refs called some nonsense and I’m sad.
Carter had time to go back to his right instead of shooting airball lefthanded.

Ill remeber that Svi shot to tie the game, Grayson getting robbed at the buzzer and that horrible block call in Ot. Tough way to go out.
I'm not even mad at the Grayson shot. Bad bounces happen. I cannot believe that Carter airballed a shot that close to the basket. Unreal. That miss will stand out more than anything else to me about this game.
Grayson has been coming up short every season since his freshman season.
I don't buy the "played harder," "wanted it more" junk. They executed better in the crunch and the game was decided by hairs' breadths.
If you look at the made3 to tie at the end our defene is awful...going after the ball and then carter leaves the KS play to guard a ghost in the corner....wide open shot. That one play was indicative of this team. Greatness on one end and poor on the other.
Yea I knew when the game went into OT, our outlook was grim! Ashame we didn’t win the game in regulation!
I agree. I think our guys wanted it bad and played very hard. If Grayson's shot in regulation had gone down.....it almost did...twice......we are all singing his praises and the toughness of this team. Our guys wanted to win this game.
Coach K with 2 timeouts could have called a play in the huddle or from the bench.

Allen turnover in OT was a backbreaker. Both bigs were open for lob pass with only the 1 Kansas player underneath. Instead Allen telegraphs bounce pass.
That charge lost us the game. We had plenty of chances to put it away but ultimately that one sealed it
Experience won. Not this harder garbage. Our kids wanted it just as bad, but we didn't put them away when up 3, and they made us pay. I know Grayson's shot almost went in twice, but I may have fed Bagley. He scores or is fouled. Oh well, it sucks, we lost.
yeah it does suck. to me im losing that game on bagley shoulders not grayson. you go get a guy like bagley to win that type pf game. smh
I agree with the timeout before Carter miss. Draw up a play when up 3. And, reinforce guarding the 3 at the other end. Where to help, where not to help off of. It wasnt a lack of effort, it was one or two poor decisions at the end made by a young team. K should have used a timeout or 2 towards the end and substituted Alex for Javin on the offensive end once we got behind in overtime. K never subs O for D. Why not? He had the timeouts to do it.
Grayson making that shot in regulation would have been the MOST Duke thing ever. Senior with the game on the line for the final shot to go to the Final Four. Ughhh, maybe he used up all of his magic in 2015.
I know ppl are bummed about the shot but for me that was small change. The previous play where we gave the three..... Gosh that stung. I kept saying aloud “DONT GIVE UP THREE, LET THEM HAVE TWO BUT NOT THREE” and they left the guy open and gave up three. Ughhhh
I’m still upset about bringing Carter back in the first half when there wasn’t a need at that time to do it and he gets his third foul.
Usually a good nights rest and I’m over the loss but for some reason I’m still pissed today.
