Going by Matt Rhule's past history, he knocks it out of the ball park in year 3. I think he is the right man for the job.

There is literally no hope for year 3. Our lines are atrocious with veterans and we have an OC whose never ranked in the top 30 for offensive efficiency and doesn't understand that he has to run the ball in the B1G to win consistently.

Next year will be about the same or probably worse than this year unless we rehaul our lines through the portal.

I think 7-5 or 6-6 is realistic for this season. It's not going to be a 10-2 or 11-1 season like some were expecting. Probably won't see a 10 or 11 win season until next year.

Probably won’t see it next year either. But god I hope I’m wrong… 🙏🏻

Just when you thought all those Husker fans with their stretched out and faded 1995 national championship T-shirts had accepted reality, another one pops up…

Year 3 will be interesting. No doubt, Las Vegas knows Rhule's history of Year 3 at two different schools. What you think their O/U will be next year in wins? I highly doubt its 10.

Genuinely curious what you've been seeing this year that makes you think we are just a season away from 10-11 wins? Or is this a bit and I'm not picking up on your sarcasm?

Will have to see what the schedule looks like next year and beyond. The data to date (playing in a major conf) suggest that Rhule’s ceiling for wins is based on the formula

(Total numbers of games) minus (total number of games vs ranked teams) = maximum wins possible

The only time he was truly healthy was as a fresh and he did well against Oklahoma and that All-American from Michigan. Our OL was noticeably better and then he got injured. Hasn’t been the same since though

Teddy has the same problem as Corc and Ervin. They can't get and stay healthy.

If Rhule hires a new OC and special teams coordinator it’ll be year one for them. So I’d keep that I mind if you think a double digit win season is coming next year.
