keep them coming....i breath a sigh of relief when reading them and getting to the end realizing I didn't say anything stupid.

I am sure the next one I won't be so lucky.

Been on a "work bender" for 10 days and didn't see the board at all until Tuesday. Did I say anything stupid in them?

I did three only and stopped. We are on the verge of our first NCAA bid in 29 years thanks to our best coach in decades since Wenzel, he couldn't keep his best players on the court with little academic support back then. I was a sophomore in HS in 1991. I bumped one that showed someone found Pikiell's name intriguing before Jordan was even fired(was impressed and wanted to give him credit), another during a Stony Brook's lone NCAA game in 2016, another to get a sense of what people thought after he got hired. It was no different than when people bumped Ash threads after he was fired on who was right and wrong. Just gave some perspective to those who called Pikiell hire good and bad. I was fine with both hires at the time, even though Scott Frost was my first choice(went to UCF), can't remember who I wanted in basketball it wasn't Sendek or Hurley everyone was drooling for. That's all and no intent by it.

You never say anything stupid....only thing stupid was ever being positive between Waters and Jordan

In my defense I had a lot of high profile AAU guys from here in the DMV singing Eddie's praises. Took me about 15-18 months to realize that one. Dont think I was ever really "in" on Hill.

I have to say, I was fooled by Hill hype. The hire was completely understandable..

- he had Rutgers roots with his Dad a legend here
- he had a reputation as an area recruiter
- when he came in alongside Waters, he got to coach a win vs Pitt.. while Waters was doing something to honor one of his Kent State teams and couldn't get back due to snow.
- Waters never delivered on the type of team he said he wanted to build.. full-court D and transition O... he never delivered that

Just realized.. Pike is closer to delivering that than Waters ever was. And as most here thought that.. that is the kind of exciting basketball that brings out fans and recruits.
