This matchup makes a lot of sense. Two HOF coaches who are friends, border states battle and projected top 15 rankings for both from P5 conferences. it should make good tv and get good ratings. Hope it works out. I'd pay to see it.

Would give WVU 1 of the toughest schedules in the country, people who complained this year that OOC schedule was weak won't be able to say that next year.

Virginia + Kentucky + Texas AM (in Germany for Armed Forces Salute game) + at Pitt + AdvoCare Invitational ( Missouri, St. Johns, Nebraska, Oregon State, UCF, Marist, Long Beach State) + Big 12 schedule.

Also, you can only play Kansas vs UK so many times...............don't get me wrong, 2 best teams in their respected conferences along with being 2 very rich historic basketball programs.....but you have to infuse new blood every once in awhile.
