Jacksonville ranked 25th in forcing turnovers. Not a good sign for this team. But have heard Beetle will be the 2 and Knapper 1 for starting lineup this game.

Hoping to see a different team dynamic with Culver. He may bust or take a while to get it going, but one thing is for sure, he has to be more of a team player than Konate has become.

The Bolden/Chase combo is as weak as it gets for a starting G lineup at this point in the season. Ugh why does Chase play so much.

Culver showing pretty fast that he's not afraid to try to shoot and post people up. He's been a little sloppy but not bad so far under the circumstances. Hope he gets a lot of 2nd half minutes.

Most improved player so far seems to be Logan Routt. Good for Logan, not so good for the team. Culver isn't shy about going inside. That's good.

What's up with Ahmad sitting so much? In Huggins' doghouse? Asa has been pretty timid this season and gets smacked in head with passes because he's not looking. Doesn't seem to be alert.

I think Esa just turns to over too much. He plays pretty sloppy and thats not good for a senior who should be the leader of the team. He may be in the doghouse.

This the equivalent of losing to Bowling Green by two touchdowns followed by a FG win vs YSU. Everyone here would be calling for Holgerson's deserved immediate firing. This is shockingly bad recruiting, talent evaluating, and coaching. Huggins is checked out, he feels no pressure to produce because he knows the state and school are full of pathetic sycophants who worship his every word. "Duhhhh, Huggs will fix it," "You don't have 800 wins," blah blah blah.

Having .500 years in the B12 is tolerable every so often. Being embarrassed by Rhode Island, WKU, and freaking Jacksonville St, a school no one outside of the campus knows exists, is lose your coach level ineptitude.

Well, perhaps the past 4 years has something to do with why people aren't calling for Huggs to be fired:

25 wins
26 wins
28 wins
26 wins

Knapper provided a spark. Most athletic guard hands down.
West was nice today
Harris is turning it on lately
Culver isnt afraid to play offense

Bolden is not a PG and he's more of a liability with his wrist issue right now. Harler being on the court says a lot.
McCabe has a long way to go. Looks timid and overmatched at this level.
Esa has no game really. Sloppy and turnover king. Benched
Routt is a role player. I dig the dude but he wouldnt make most teams starting lineups.

Nathan Adrian said this was one of the harder games to get the players up for. Right before break, small team, etc. Hopefully we find ourselves after the break. We have a lot of talent but no team chemistry an no leader at all. We need a leader to emerge. Knapper?

Agree. Give Knapper the ball. Konate not even sitting with the team or behind the bench??? Culver looks like he has an upside-just rusty.

And how many of those wins are against teams line Southern Northwestern Anthill U?

Glad you asked. Big 12 has been the #1 or #2 conference the past 4-5 years. Conference record during that time:

11-7 (Sweet 16)
13-5
12-6 (Sweet 16)
11-7 (Sweet 16)

Also, look at Duke, UK, UNC, etc. and their scheduled wins against "cupcakes".....everyone has those wins.
