According to a report from USAToday, the Big12 Conference pulled in a record amount of money in the 2017 fiscal year (ending June 30th, 2017), totaling $371 million. Dispersed among the ten schools, each would receive, on average, $34.3 million. That's up over $57 million for the league as a whole, and nearly $6 million per school from the previous period.
That $34.3 million is nearly $7 million less than what the SEC received for the 2017 year, but does not include Tier 3 monies. For West Virginia, that is an extra $8-10 million per year. Federal tax returns for the SEC, Big Ten, and Pac12 have not yet been released.
