I'm hoping as the baseball season unfolds that this team improves. After last seasons NCAA Tournament snub I am hoping the team has a huge chip on the shoulder and sets out to prove they belong. We have great coach and really good players on scholarship to compete in the Big XII. IMO
The team played well against a very good Baylor team. The Mountaineers came away from that 3 game series winning 2 and dropping the last game.
I just wish more games were televised. All the more reason a Conference network would be nice but it's not financially feasible right now. Not to mention the LHN is a major obstacle.
Hopefully more fans get behind this team and help fill up the baseball stadium. The new baseball stadium is outstanding. After years of going to games at Hawley field its like moving from a tar-paper shack to a Mansion.
