Delta 8, 9, and 10 THC products. Just ridiculous - they're making it a level 1 drug similar to Heroin. I hate living in this backward state sometimes - bunch of boomer politicians that continue to put us farther and farther behind the times.
lol no one’s getting blitzed over these products. They’re proven to have many medical benefits.
lol Jesus
Lol you clearly have no idea what you’re talking about. First time on the off topic board - should’ve known it was full of MAGA loonies.
As a person who thinks pot should be legal and disagree with this it is not high on my list of priorities.Delta 8, 9, and 10 THC products. Get high and have your buddies piss in a cup that's what we do ..
What boggling to me is pot is illegal but they give synthetic opioid to the inmates after they are clean ... go figure

Simple solution. Move to California or New York.Lol you clearly have no idea what you’re talking about. First time on the off topic board - should’ve known it was full of MAGA loonies.

I agree fully....make it legal and tax it just like liquor and cigs....and have the same punishment for violating these laws...let the folks have some fun and make some tax money....and while you are at it empty the jails of folks who got caught with a roach or a joint ...save some money for heaven's sakeAs a person who thinks pot should be legal and disagree with this it is not high on my list of priorities.

That’s the WV mindset that’s got us last in pretty much every single meaningful category. Also, these products are legal in most states even Republican!Simple solution. Move to California or New York.
As I said, move out of WV. It’s a solution that makes both sides happy. Who would’ve thought someone would promote drug use to keep us “from falling behind the times” lol. Again, putting any of these products in the same vein as literally any drug is laughable. Tells me you truly have no idea what you’re talking about. As I said, move out of WV. Never voted democrat in my life but something about WV continuing to go backwards in everything we do should definitely concern people. However, it’s evident you guys are just fine with incompetence.Dude we get it. You want to be able to profit selling drugs legally in a State that has a Drug problem. While hoping they start voting Democrat again.

I don’t smoke pot. The effects of these products and pot are not the same. Most of those products don’t have psychoactive effects. My grandma uses delta 8 every single day to help with inflammation and it does wonders for her. Many others are in this same boat. To act like because I support these products I must be a progressive democrat is truly laughable. You definitely vote progressive Democrat.and I didn't care you like to smoke pot I'm just concerned about the people of West Virginia as a whole. They need some real jobs and real hope. Not more drug dealers.

Lmao! Good grief! If you’re concerned about WV falling behind, I would think it would be in things like education and jobs. Put down the meth pipe and worry about your brain cells. It’s apparent, you’ve already lost several.Never voted democrat in my life but something about WV continuing to go backwards in everything we do should definitely concern people. Imagine this.. there are republicans out there that don’t like Trump (shocking, I know). You ranting about Maga and the Current WV Government gave it away. Ignoring every other fact I posted sealed it. Lets clean up the mess the State currently has then you can re-engage.

I’m not trying to convince anybody and there are clear medical benefits that I’ve already highlighted in this forum. Also, most of these products have no psychoactive properties. Google is your friend. Become informed.Make an argument for legalizing it other than "Everyone else is doing it". That's what a 3rd grader would say.
If your argument is strong enough, you may have some people who would agree with you. I'll be open to it if you can convince me the pros outweigh the cons. But, I will write this, you will have a task on your hands to convince me.
I’m not concerned about WV falling behind it is what it is at this point. But, your boomer “get off my lawn” or “if you don’t like it then leave” mindset sure doesn’t help anything.Lmao! Good grief! Imagine this.. there are republicans out there thatit don’t like Trump (shocking, I know). Also, yes the state government is very behind the times with this issue. It’s legal in most Republican states.
I understand your point. My point is that these products have nothing to do w the current drug epidemic in the state nor are they contributing to it. They’ve only been legal for like 5 years and the epidemic was out of control before any of this was readily available. People take this stuff regularly to sustain a certain quality of lifestyle. This takes away immediate relief for those people. Also, most of these products aren’t abused because most don’t have psychoactive properties.Let me explain it so even you can understand it. Until the State can get it's addiction problems under control most sane people don't want more drugs introduced to the problem. The will need to address the root causes of those addictions. That's going to take a lot of work and education. That includes Jobs and Training that leads to hope. In the meantime they don't need more drug dealers regardless of what you are peddling.

Ok. So because Granny's got a little swelling, likely arthritic, she needs a little THC to take it down? Something that a little Aleve will also do.
Since Google is my friend I did a little searching. Found studies showed that THC basically only lowers the pain but does little about the cause.
So Granny can smoke a little pot, get some pain relief temporarily, but still has the swelling?
Is Granny dying of cancer? Is she dying of AIDS or some other terrible disease? Need a little more info on Granny's condition other than she has a little swelling.
If you aren't trying to convince people, why did you post?
Wonder if the legislature did a Google search first before they banned them? Weighed the pros with the cons? I'll have to ask...
I get it. This is not like the meth, heroin, etc. crisis affecting the country.I understand your point. I get that people take this stuff regularly - and that is a problem. If Granny is prescribed it by her doctor, fine. I hope Granny gets all the help she needs. She and everyone else out there who would TRULY benefit deserve it and I wouldn't blame her (or you) if you grew a plant or two in your basement for it regardless of the law.
But, you and I both know this law is not what that's about. All of a sudden, there will be all kinds of people in a doctor's office wanting a prescription for THEIR "pain". That is the catch 22 here.
So bear with me. Doc A prescribes some THC to Bill for his "pain". Bill, who is obese, smokes, has diabetes, and has a sedentary lifestyle (like most WV) and job drives to the store for some Marlboros. Gets into an accident, kills a family of 4.
Now, a whole can of worms just opens. Blood tests on Bill show THC in his body so now, no matter whose fault the accident was, gets charged with 4 counts of DUI with death. The doctor gets sued for issuing Bill the prescription, and a good lawyer gets a jury to believe that if Bill just would have stopped smoking, lost some weight, and exercised more he never would have needed the THC to begin with and Doc A clearly offered little help to Bill other than to prescribe him some THC to counteract the effects.
See where this goes?
This country has a drug problem. Not just with the illegal ones either.
Medical Marijuana is legal in WV. If you need Marijuana get a card!
