You may be right about Fickell, but the Badgers closed last season on an upswing with two wins against ranked opponents and have overhauled their roster. The 2026 schedule is also easier. It will be interesting to see how things play out.

Iowa never seems to have the highest recruiting ranking, but does well at the draft ranking.

Hate to be that guy, but it needs to start showing up more in both the recruiting trail (more 4-stars seeing the value of KF and his staff putting kids into the league) AND in the win column. Iowa should be a perennial 10-win team with this much talent. Am I wrong?

Again, super happy for the kids becoming millionaires and living out their dreams, but I’d also like to see it equate to Iowa making the playoffs.

You're not "that guy", and you're not wrong ... necessarily.

Thousands of HS players - hundreds are rated 4 stars or 3 stars. The 4 star guys are probably better HS players, but that doesn't really tell you which ones will be better college players, and it certainly doesn't say which will be better Hawkeyes.

Recruiting 17 year olds. Ho do you really know how good they will be?
