Michigan cruising so far. I think they should have been the second highest seeded Big Ten team, but Dusty May is not yet in the Good ol’ Boy Coaches’ Club.

Valiant effort on the Mavs. Give them credit. St. John’s probably probably taking them lightly. Mavs missing too many shots though. Love the Mavs defensive effort packing the paint. But the Johnnies can hit shots.

That point guard is quick I just wish he would commit to finishing at the rim more. Mavs have kind of a bull down low too, dominating the boards.

Valiant effort. Perhaps are cementing a step to being a solid contender in the summit league each year

Game effort by UC-San Diego, but that last possession was awful. Down by three and you run the clock all the way down? Made no sense.

Obscure fact about Drake. Me and my boys were in Des Moines for a wrestling tourney and this place called Jethros’s bbq had a food challenge called the Adam Emmenicker. A completely unhealthy menu item. So I ordered it. And we all ate of the same dinner for 25 bucks. And took left overs back to the hotel. Adam was a former player at Drake many years ago

Des Moines is a really great little city. Very vibrant outdoorsy scene, tons of breweries, paved bike paths for freaking miles, mtn bike trails in a sweet park in the middle of the city. Very affordable housing. You could do a lot worse for places to live....and very clean. Only downside is the homelessness, its bad enough near the paved bike paths I would never let my wife ride alone...although last year we saw less of that so perhaps they cleaned it up? Year before was so bad you wouldnt believe it unless you saw it with your own eyes.
