Hey man, he's a bona fide Country Star! Apparently, he's friends with Zeke Elliot too. Not my cup of tea either, but there are some who still say, "If it ain't country, it ain't music!

[s1uggo72]

Apparently he’s Entertainer of the Year

[Alphalion75]

I'm not a country music fan, but some posters here are a bit arrogant.

[o_No Name All Game]

Hey the simplest thing to do if you don’t like something on TV is turn it .....OFF !!

Is this the same guy who was on SNL and took some heat for doing this? Luke Combs?

[GregInPitt]

My wife, the only woman here in our small family gathering, said there were just too many scantily clad cheer leaders for us me to be watching.......

Yes. That's him. One of his songs is entitled, "Beer Never Broke My Heart." That's pretty funny.

Yes, because everyone should like the same type of music.

The half time show during the Lions game was no prize either.

[BobPSU92]

I‘m not into country music, but this guy was good yesterday. Good show. The NFL has put on much worse.

Probably better than the football, though.

Meh, my kids and their friends (HS and college aged) listen to much worse, like the kind where I can't understand a word the "artist" is "singing".

You know what’s funny, I felt the same way when my kids were in HS. Now they’re out of college, working and in relationships the music is much more mainstream. Thank God!

Um, it was pretty good for very obvious reasons. It's not the worst version of 'bro' country I've ever heard (and reminds me a lot of late 80's early 90's radio friendly country stuff) - actually not bad (though not my preference).

For those who missed out...

Could they have had sorbet to cleanse the palate instead .
