WTF is the 'alt-right'?

I'm lost on that one

The "alt-right" is not a reference to the mainstream Republican Party or the Conservative movement. It is generally considered those outside the GOP, and further to the right, and includes white supremacists (i.e., skinheads, KKK, etc.) and antisemitic groups (neo-nazis, etc.), amongst others. Some on the alt-right are opposed to all immigration, both legal and illegal. As there is no Alt-right Party, per se, the term is a shorthand way of referring to those far-right groups that, historically, have not been a part of the GOP because of the extremism of their views compared to either the Republican or Democratic Parties.

Left-wingers have been searching for some/any term they can stick to individuals like you (and a half dozen others around here) ever since they allowed Lee Atwater to hi-jack (and ultmately demonize) the term "liberal" for GHWB. Not that anyone cares what I think, but I never knew why they didn't just stick with "conservatives" or else "Right wing/winger" and go from there.

I also have no idea (and frankly couldn't give two *****) if it works for them, but they seem to be trying with this one......well, at least until 11/08/16.

Leftists were getting no traction with the Tea Party term attempted slam on the conservatives, so they came up with another name to call that idle group intended to cover the extreme right wing beyond those conservatives. If liberals get traction with that name, they will use it for the choir boy and beyond during this political cycle. It is a derogatory term intended eventually to describe everyone to the right of Hillary.

I'm pretty sure it's a term West Virginia Trumpets use to give directions to Klan meetings. "G'wn down teh holler 'n make alt right at teh purple trail'r with a Trump sign 'n g'wn till teh road runs out."

It is liberals doing what they do best, generalizing people in hopes that nobody recognizes their incompetence

Congrats Moetard. That is the kind of ignorance I want from you everyday.
Sorry Dave but the Trump salute is real and so are your friends the alt-right who support him. Your ignorance is expected and delivered by you, well done.

I agree, ohhhhhh, I wholeheartedly agree. Think it's any different at the federal level?
Careful with the generalizations there - if you don't want them applied to you, don't throw them around about others. There are lazy people in every job.

Watch what you ask for, Dave. He has proven his ability to endure. I think he can do this on a daily basis given his history.

Sorry if it makes you uncomfortable but the alt-right favors Trump because they share common values. Make America Great Again indeed.

Meanwhile, the real right can't distance themselves enough from him.

Make America Great Again was frequently used by Bill as a candidate and repeated as president.

Now the groups you are showing as elements of Alt include KKK(the Clan). The Clan was a brain thrust of Democrat Party. KKK were definitely an element of Dems in persecution of Republicans. Blacks and Whites who pledged to vote Repub were found on short end of long rope. If they said they were going to vote Dem, they would get the hell beaten out of them, but it was seen as a favor since they were allowed to walk away.

Two questions: Are you in doubt of something I said? How do I return your Trump salute?
I just read up on the KKK so forgive me if I take a pass on your attempt at a history lesson and obvious attempt to deflect that the extreme right supports Trump.

So you could not find a basis for the origination of The Clan and deflect with obvious attempt to play on words and now you are suggesting that I offered something to deny that middle to extreme right like Trump. I cannot deny any person or group the right to vote for whom they prefer regardless of their affiliation. The fact that they prefer Trump over Hillary offers no bilateral opinions from either. It offers no support from anyone person or group that they receive support for their causes. In most cases, it suggests one point of view is preferred to the other. A Quid Pro Quo is offered by either candidate.

Stupid, but just for the hell of it, What could Trump offer to Clan or Skin Heads that Hillary couldn't offer the same? What makes you think?

Yes, that directly refutes my inquiry??? Not. Got something applicable to my concern? Just a bit off track?
You asked what Trump had to offer those groups and the article discusses that. Good luck with your research.

Hillary doesn't offer views/positions that the right wing fringe supports but Trump does. Hope that helps.
Of course it does not help. You have none. You are attempting to make a distinction where none exists. Move on, please.

Hillary offers positions on immigration that ISIS likes, so I guess, using your profound logic, all I can ask is why do you and other alt-lefties support the murder of innocent people?

Wake up and go back to sleep you dolt. Ask any stupid question that you want but the same question turned around would be will Hillary attract the votes of U.S. citizens who are on the far left (but we'll go with ISIS supporters instead to indulge you)? Assuming that there are some U.S. voters who support ISIS then I guess she could, who knows? I haven't seen the latest polling of U.S. citizens who support ISIS. Try to stay on topic.

It was your stupid logic. I am sorry that you did not like it being used it to expose your desire to kill infidels.
