What does it mean for us? Serious question.
It means the UK is even more unstable. They voted to leave the UK but unable to come up with a plan to do so. PM May will probably be called upon to resign. But in my opinion, no PM would have been able to do this impossible task.

In world economics, it will put further pressure in the negative. The impact? Even the greatest economic minds are all over the place with predictions.

Like does it mean there is no trade between them? No diplomatic relations? Borders?

I'm not fully sure other than borders. I'm pretty certain that they passed soon after the Brexit vote to close all borders with the EU. The borders for all other countries were not impacted.

I just read they are set to leave the EU on March 29.

When I was in Europe and England in October, the hostility towards the UK in Europe was intense. Inside of England, the debate on Brexit was intense. And it all centered around immigration from what I heard. The pro Brexit people wanted to stop allowing eastern Europe and Mideast individuals from continuing to come into the country.

Means they are about to have some riots, people got tired of open borders & bad trade deals. I would guess that they will try to hold status quo, but investors & trade partners will get nervous, start laying off people go broke people start going crazy...

I suspect that's what drove the original Brexit vote.

I think it means that UK business will take a massive hit (on top of what has already occurred), putting them in an even weaker position to negotiate.

Progress will just simple move around the jags that try to stop it.

How and why? Will trade cease between the 2 groups? Will Euros need a cell plan fo UK and a cell plan for the rest of Europe? What about ports? Duties?

I imagine all trade would have to be negotiated as if the UK was a new nation. POE, passports for travel/ work would have to be established as if the UK and the EU were seperate nations with no general agreements in place.

Isn’t that why some think May is “running out the clock”, because no agreement for Brexit with the EU would handcuff the UK economy and force Brexit to be abandoned in favor of staying in the EU?

I was in London a few years ago and it’s hard to find any Brits. Most of the service jobs are taken by eastern Europeans and south Asians.

I encountered lots more natives in Scotland and NW England.
