Sad reality about Darby is he's likely staying in AEW until he's done so he'll be known there and some WWE fans will know of his stunts and whatnot but overall he's going to end up a broken down wealthy ex-wrestler that quite simply most wrestling fans won't know about or care about. Johnny Knoxville is broken down but my mom knows who he is so he broke that MTV bubble and became mainstream. Mick Foley is broken down but a legend in the business and reached the highest of highs in the top promotion during their hottest period in history. For sure, AEW does higher attendance for PPVs but this guy is often putting his body in absolute hell for 2500-3000 fans. If you're going to be that dumb, at least be that dumb for several thousand fans every week and get proper promotion. I use this guy often now because of the genius promotion behind him, but Danhausen is more popular than Darby and Darby may look like a question mark in a decade.

He would never get to be the character or wrestler he wants to be in WWE, he'd never get to do the stuff outside of wrestling that he gets to do now, he'd get paid less, and then he'd get cut or told to take a big pay cut whenever those idiots in creative couldn't come up with something for him to do.

But hey he would be known by more people!

Cracking Up Lol GIF

Last night's Dynamite was a bit of a puzzler for me. Kevin Knight versus Kenny Omega for the title. There's literally no doubt who's going to win.

To me, it should be Knight vs. Bailey for the TV title in Speedball's hometown.

Also WWE announced today this year's World's Collide will be held on Saturday, September 26th in....wait for it....Chicago. That's right, the same date as All Out.

WWE will once again be embarrassed head to head like they always are.

Also, WWE fumbled the timing of the announcement. First count for All Out is 4.2K which is nearly half of what they did last time they were at the same arena. They only have to sell around another 5.4K over two months for a complete sell out

4 major shows in a month is some crazy scheduling. They only have like what 2 or 3 hours of TV a week dedicated to AAA? Are they going to start using NXT/Raw/Smackdown time to build these shows or something?

Ya I agree and also not a fan of putting 2 guys with titles against each other. It’s pretty transparent who will win.
The only time I remember it making sense was hogan/warrior.

This sucks, one of the most exciting wrestlers to watch when he’s healthy. This is his second major injury since 2024 though, this will be worse than the one back in 2024 too. And he never ramped things back up to where he was pre-injury.
