Ya this whole thing feels way off…

…the only thing that can save this is well I don’t even know at this point other than TKO not getting involved ever again
Or are they looking at the slightly lower ticket sales and saying that the WWE messed things up and TKO tried their best but just wasn’t able to save them. And then do they interfere more?

Depends on how you look at it…
Whose decision was it to go to Vegas back to back years?
Vegas is expensive as it is - I think they’d been better off in New Orelans where they originally planned it.
How much difference would it make?
Bad location and bad booking aren’t a good combo.

Now they got Punk calling a guy MAGAfee, calling out Ari for shoving McAfee into the mix, and complaining about ticket prices in a promo when Punk isn’t even involved in the Cody-Orton story? 🤦‍♂️

I did enjoy the clip I saw of Punk saying half of Roman’s main events are trash because it’s true.

Good Lord!
There's been quite a lot of shoot fighting incidents in Japanese wrestling or involving Japanese wrestlers in non-Japanese promotions. A guy I follow on YouTube did a video series about five of them, makes the above look tame.

Akira Maeda, the subject of the 4th video, was particularly notorious for shooting. He actually ended up quitting wrestling during his prime as a big star and going to the UWF, which was a shoot-fighting style of wrestling, and then going into actual shoot fighting when the UWF folded after only a year.

I’ve had a good time making fun of the Randy/Cody/McAfee thing and all but a couple good things I think the E has been doing:

1. The Oba and Brock build has just been tremendous,

2. I am particularly excited to see the return of Demon Balor. That’s was the best thing going until they retired it and gave Bray Wyatt the Fiend/demon type gimmick.

Those are the two matches I am really looking forward to.

It’s a couple pretty good cards on paper if you’re just grading it based on potential match quality. As far as that goes, it’s one of the highest potential shows they’ve had in years, in my opinion.

Only problem with that though is that WWE has devalued the importance of the actual wrestling for decades.

Though when comparing the two nights, night 2 on paper is several factors more interesting looking than night 1.

La Catalina leaving CMLL, rumored to go going to AAA/WWE. Would be the first person, or at least the first notable person, to make the jump since WWE bought AAA.

I don’t even know who would be considered a notable AAA to CMLL jump other than Vikingo and Dr. Wagner Jr. And Vikingo would be lower on the totem pole in CMLL than he would be in AAA.

Iguana would classify as a notable name of course, but he would be a complete moron to make that move because that gimmick would be so incompatible with what CMLL is known for. Unless someone is a midget wrestler, they don’t really do much with comedy stuff over there.

That roster is pretty barren for the most part when you remove the people that are established WWE names. AAA had so few people under contract due to years and years of terrible management and booking that kid to a bunch of talented wrestlers leaving.

Oh, and like LaParka said this morning, check Liv Morgan's twitter feed. She posted pics of that damn goose egg bump on her head from last night or whenever. It is insane!

The thud when they collided was crazy loud. It's no surprise Liv and Roxanne are in concussion protocol.

Sounds like it’s going to be touch and go for the match. Everyone’s concussion recovery timeline can be wildly different.

I saw some crazy long recovery timelines when I worked in college athletics, one guy literally missed an entire season because of one.

If they can’t make it work they should have Raquel replace her and win it and get on with that eventual feud.

Not sure if this counts as positive but Dynamite for this evening as of 1:00 pm

AEW TBS Champion Willow Nightingale vs. Queen Aminata.
Chris Jericho to appear.
AEW National Champion Jack Perry & Bandido & Darby Allin vs. Andrade el Idolo & Konosuke Takeshita & Mark Davis.
Kenny Omega to appear.
AEW Continental Champion Jon Moxley to appear.

Originally it was supposed to be Brody King in the six man but he's been pulled due to personal reasons and replaced by Bandido.

Tony announced Fletcher will have to vacate the TNT title.

A new champ will be crowned on Sunday at Dynasty in a Casino Gauntlet match.

Ciampa will face Mascara Dorada tonight with the winner being the #1 entrant for the title match.

“It’s hard times In this place, daddy!”
I don’t think this thread has ever been as “united” since this mcafee thing - no one really disagrees how bad it is.

Poor Cody 2 years ago The Rock tried to take his match
Last year he got Travis Scott
This year it’s Mcafee

Every time I see mcafee I think of that stupid antivirus tool

Lord, I didn’t think about that. Poor frigging cody! I’m not a Cody fan as I always say, but I’d be irate if I were him getting nuked thee years in a row.

And at least the Rock was someone big. The other two guys were basically worthless and just screwed up his big matches.
