Since it says majorly pushed, I’d put money on Seth Rollins. That is one of the markiest wrestlers I’ve ever seen in my life.
Could be Liv Morgan too, they've pushed her to the moon with the movies, and music video, she's missed a lot of injury time, and she always talks about how WWE raised her, so I could see her doing it.

Ya how does that happen! Does AEW offer insurance? Only way it’d work is if punk/cody/roman collaborate on it.
No to insurance unless you have staff duties. But AEW does cover lodging and travel. And are very unlikely to cut you. And even less likely to make you take a paycut mid contract, if that’s even happened once that would be news to me. AEW contracts aren’t legally guaranteed but they are pretty damn close to it in reality.

I got to give WWE credit here. They know their wrestlers are dumb as rocks and found the perfect way to navigate around AEW driving up salaries. Why compete with AEW for salaries when these dumbas*es will just take massive paycuts?

I wonder who'll be the Hogan and stooge it off to the boss in the era, if a Jesse the Body figure tried it again?

Now all WWE has to do is if they think someone is making too much money they can just tell Triple H to book them like crap and be like “you aren’t producing like we want so you got to take a paycut or be released.”

It's interesting to me that a segment of wrestling fans have moved from fantasy booking to fantasy corporation running. Maybe that's kind of the natural progression of fandom because it gets done in other sports all the time.

The constant monitoring of ratings, ticket sales, etc I feel like comes from a good place of folks wanting this form of entertainment to continue, but it has jumped the shark IMHO at this point.

Some of these new age dirt sheet accounts that get posted here (which thanks to Dragon and the other guys who share it all) are basically ONLY about that. Are we all that bored with the product, that what keeps us interested is the business side?

Dragon just likes to dump on wwe

What he isn’t realizing is if wwe forces cuts on talent then AEW doesn’t have to pay as much either to poach them so it hurts the industry as a whole

He really has not been on Raw since WrestleMania. He is over AF but HHH hates him so it would not surprise me if he gets cut.

Who is worse at PR right now? UK Athletics or TKO?
TKO easily. UK just being stupid and incompetent, TKO being that along with some evil added into the mix.

WWE made it more fun when they didn’t make it so easy. Like trying to find a needle in a stack of needles these days. Not a specific needle mind you, just any ole needle in a pile of needles.

But yes I realize it. All the idiots taking pay cuts are screwing it up for everyone as I said.

I find it terribly ironic that if wwe hits the crapper tko trying to make it mainstream would be the ultimate demise.

Then again a lot of the territories like Memphis/nwa/etc made a lot of money in the 70s/80s/90s before Vince came in and washed their regional audiences.

300% raises for execs but the ones performing the entertainment people pay to watch got to take pay cuts while having to pay for their own insurance, travel, hotels, etc.

If I was a wrestler and asked to take a 50% pay cut, my response would be as soon as these TKO chucklef@ck execs take their 50% pay cut. What terrible optics, to be asking talent to take a 50% pay cut while these execs are swimming in compensation/bonuses/stock options; while WWE continues to sell advertising anywhere and everywhere; while WWE rapes attendees with ridiculously inflated ticket pricing.

They are also fostering an atmosphere of fear and uncertainty in the locker room. Is any WWE superstar safe? Just about every wrestler in WWE has to be thinking at the back of their mind: Am I next?

Why would you ever sign a long-term contract with WWE now should be a legitimate question every talent and agent is asking because those contracts aren't worth the paper they are printed on.

They can literally manufacture reasons to justify a person's paycut. On the books for $4 million and WWE wants to slash payroll? Enjoy catering for a few months. Get shoved down to the midcard. Get your push squashed. Get turned into a jobber. Have your gimmick, music, etc. changed to get you less over. A year later, you get told you aren't used enough, aren't over enough, aren't high enough on the card, etc. so you got to take a paycut.

They'll cut people after less than a year rather they give you a legitimate chance to prove your worth or not. And by legitimate chance I mean the booking and presentation to go with the part's of wrestling that a wrestler can control. Like you think JC Mateo ever had a chance regardless of how he fit in WWE? No, of course he didn't. But he gets cut after a year because of WWE stupidity.

They'll say your worth X dollars when they sign you, won't do anything with you, then a year later say you aren't worth what we thought you were worth last year so you have to take less money. Don't want to take the pay cut we're demanding? Fired. Example: New Day signed new deals lasty year and largely did nothing after the big heel turn.

And since WWE severely limits what a wrestler can do to earn money outside of WWE, your options of being able to recoup that lost income via other ventures is hamstrung. We sure know those options within wrestling are basically non-existent with exceedingly rare exception if you're a golden child like Iyo Sky and she's not the type that's being told to take a paycut to begin with.

Can't even get sent to TNA to make a few extra bucks because TNA is basically indentured servitude if you're a WWE talent. WWE isn't paying them anything extra to work there, TNA isn't paying them anything to work there, and you can't refuse the booking or you risk being fired because WWE would never send anyone to TNA that ranked highly enough that would have the clout to be able to refuse a booking.

I believe someone started a thread about it on the board but Ted Turner passed away.

As of this morning Dynamite was up to 2,050 tickets for tonight, which will be a three hour show with Collision at 10 pm. I'm sure more things will be added as the day goes on.

The same guy who said he always asks what the house is for every show saying he doesn’t need to know how many people were in the seats just further shows how full of shiť Cody is

I’ve never seen so many people in the industry advocate for wanting to see someone go to AEW as I have with New Day.

Per twitter, looks like Ospreay did an interview saying that Tony K. paid for his neck surgery last fall. Very nice of the guy if so.

I mean ya I think that’s what should happen.
Me too. I don't think that regularly happens from what I can tell.

I know back when Danhausen was in the indies, and had that awful leg break in Knoxville, he had to do a lot of crowd funding to help pay his medical bills.

Yeah, but that's the indies. They don't pay for anything.

ESPN Sports Center interviewing a WWE wrestler about a 'title' match this weekend. 🙄 Amazing how they're treating this like it's an actual sporting event.

I know it is probably not happening, but if MJF ends up getting his head shaved on Dynamite in a few weeks, that would be the greatest thing ever.
