Anyone else find it interesting and hopeful redshirt senior AA was not among those honored for senior night on the mat this evening? Is this a harbinger of good news coming our way???

I’ve been hoping to see Suriano and Ashnault in the same lineup for an entire season. Should be fun as hell and historic. Firestone 133 and assume MVB st 149.

If Glasgow is on the roster, he might be a contender to start at 149 or 157. Could MVB get down to 133 ?

MVB cannot get near 133 and do not think Glasgow can get to 149.

My guess
125-NS
133-Firestone--Lipari(not sure if he can get down, but he is having pretty good redshirt year at 141)
141-AA or MVB
149-AA or MVB
157-John Van Brill/ maybe Glasgow if JVB goes 165(rather have JVB at 157)
165-hoping Pagano can drop down, if not JVB/Glasgow
174-Grello
184-Gravina
197-Scott-do not think any of the Freshman will be ready

Agree with other poster. I don’t see how MVB goes down to 133. I like Glasgow at 157 and JVB at 165 which is why I’m ticked Lewis went up. I would have liked JVB to get a year growing into the weight. His frame is perfect for 165 with some added strength.

Wouldn't be shocked if we find a grad transfer or JUCO at 197 for next year.

How about Pagano at 197 bulking up.He has the frame to go up building into the weight at least for the senior year.
I'd absolutely think that'd be a great idea. Get Pagano in the weight room as soon as the season ends.

He isn't ready. He is ranked 9th at his weight in HS. He needs a redshirt year.... physically and mentally. Kid is moving from Cali to NJ for college. Let him get his life in order and THEN wrestle him.

My two cents, no refunds.

And I do not see NS ever moving up to 133, he is not a big 125lber

I agree with you, just think next year is going to be our best team we had in awhile and the coaches are going to put the best option we have out at 125 which is going to be Nico in my opinion. If he comes into the room and is beating up the other 125 pounders he will go.

I see him going up.

Out of curiosity what is the benefit to him going up? Why would he or us want him to do that?

I'm guessing Nick is less than 4% body fat. If he keeps hitting the weights, there's nothing else to cut. You guys know better than I do, but it will not be shocking to see him bump to 133.
