I have to think it's between us and Florida right? I mean FSU doesn't even have a coach and Georgia is probably going after bigger fish.

I doubt that is a real top 5. Sure he visited UGA, but they have guys higher on their board they are after. FL doesn't show anything. Maryland we just curb stomped but you never know with teenagers. FSU without a coach may not even be interested or even have time when they make their new hire.

One thing is for sure, for this cycle the schools making coaching changes are going to lose a recruiting cycle since there are only 2 visit weekends after this weekend before kids sign in Dec. The schools playing in conference title games will only get 1 weekend worth of visits before kids sign.

Possibly 'bigger fish' literally. Looking at the football and helmet, I think his height only rhymes with 5'11". Must be a baller. Nice offers- hope we get him.

annnnd Minnesota convinced him it shouldn't be NU

Im pretty sure he didn’t visit during that game. I’m thinking he’s been paying attention as of late when we put up 1,050 yards in the last two games. But I do get your point. I have a feeling he’s already a silent commit (like Noa Pola-Gates last year). Coach V said we got much Faster and much Bigger. Then we found out we had an OLine commit but never seen who committed that made us faster? Fleming would definitely be just that....much Faster. Fleming was on visit during the time when Coach V tweeted that. That would also explain why our Huskers got a few crystal balls for Marcus Fleming. I believe he’s already committed but wants to make it public on Dec 18th.

I wish he’d announce sooner cus we need some positive energy to boost recruiting. Hoping we get a few verbals here soon.

Looks like JD in more ways than one--the resemblance is kind of uncanny.

Not really.

Fleming is the reigning Florida HS 100 and 200 m champion.

He's ran a 10.38 100 and a 20.01 200. Spielman is a great college football player with some potential pro football aspirations. But Fleming is on a another level from a speed standpoint.

However, it all may be moot, I don't think he will qualify anyway.

Fleming literally might be the fastest HS football recruit in the 2020 class. And those aren't my words, they're from a National analyst on another site. I guarantee UGA and Florida are very interested. The problem here is Fleming probably won't qualify anywhere.

Fleming has speed on par with dudes like Mecole Hardman, DeAnthony Thomas, or Percy Harvin. He is elite.

The other places have too many question marks. I'm not sure Georgia is actively recruiting him? I think he's coming to Lincoln. He decommitted on his visit. That's usually a very good sign.

UGA has bigger names they are after and would take one of those before Flemming. It isn't that UGA wouldn't take Flemming, just bigger studs. Arian Smith one of them. https://247sports.com/Player/Arian-Smith-46052428/
