Slive has the authority to suspend a coach for pretty much any reason he wants to, but I would be surprised to see MSU suspend Polk if the SEC office doesn't.

How is Polk to blame for arguing a call to the point of ejection when a batter was awarded a base after being hit with a strike?

doesn't the fact that both coaches were ejected on the same play indicate that there was some bad umpiring going on? That seems like that would be the least worrisome ejection.

I've never heard of a baseball coach being suspended by a college and not by the SEC.
