Wow, Murray taking loss hard

Another class act that Cal has brought in and deserves nothing but respect from BBN. He will be missed next year.
i hate to admit this but when you have to say "your" game wasn't good enough, then our team wasn't good enough. we're better than indiana imo, and could have won this tournament, but we weren't mature enough as a team. and yes our lack of consistent roles from our front court (mainly due to injury and some to skal not being a post player) was too much for our all-american backcourt to handle. we faced a team with one great guard who facilitated well and we had to crap the bed to lose. it sucks a big log, but it wasn't on this young man. nor ulis, who without which we would not have won 15 games.
Impossible! One and dones don't care about their one season in college!
I could have swore I saw Poy showing some emotion at the very end after he dove for that ball out of bounds. He looked like the flood gates were about to open. He may not have lived up to hopes, but he is another class act to come from this program.
Alex was for sure crying after he got up from diving out of bounds.
I admit I feel bad for him but I don't feel for him like I do Alex. He's actually spent 4 years here. Give it a few days and those tears will be gone and all he will see is dollar signs. I've seen this song and dance 5 out of the 7 Calipari years.
I really feel for Alex. He could have left after his first year and didn't. It's gonna end up costing him money also. But he sacrificed for this program more than most of the other Cal players have here. That's who you should feel for!

Wow! Jamal contributed so much to this team and was so much fun to watch. I respect and admire him tremendously. We're gonna miss you Jamal. Best of luck to you in the NBA.

Hard to hear. When winning is al that matters. This is how you feel. To stinking IU. Good grief this is just vomit inducing.
Drives me crazy to see these guys cry. Be upset, be mad at your play, be mad at the loss but don't cry. Give the other team credit and move on to the next stop of your career. If you aren't mentally ready for the NBA, come back but don't cry.

I hate seeing the players cry. Still have vivid memories of Anthony Epps crying. Chuck Hayes crying. Even Joe Crawford.

Nah you can't put any stock into anything they say about that after a loss. Willie is the only player I've ever heard actually give a level headed response to that question right after the season ended.

And I watched that play a couple times just to see Alex's last real play at UK.
The guy dove into cameramen knowing the game was over. Poythress gave what he could.
IU was missing two of their starting backcourt, so....this game could have been much worse. Ulis got his points. Murray was stuffed three times by OG. UK didn't "crap the bed". They lost.
I haven't watched it again. Don't know if I will. At first I thought that maybe he was hurting and that was it, but then I could tell he knew it was over.

I'm not doubting Murray's love for UK , his teammates, or his will to win. How you could infer that is beyond me.
I'm simply stating the reality that he'll get over it within a week or two and make the wise decision for himself and his family. I thought my point was obvious.
Why would he get over it any quicker, KAT never got over it. Nor did booker.. you don't get over these games no matter how much money is staring at you! They love uk just as much as the 4 yr player who stayed. Just a terrible comment right now plain and simple
I know this, he has nothing to be ashamed of by diving on the floor for loose balls and fighting for boards. Led the team with 7. Sometimes the shot just doesn't fall. It happens.
