Anyone remember this guy from the days of the B12?
Rae Theotis Carruth[1][2] (born Rae Lamar Wiggins; January 20, 1974), is a former American football wide receiver. After playing college football at Colorado, Carruth was drafted in the first round of the 1997 NFL Draft by the Carolina Panthers of the National Football League (NFL) and spent three seasons with the team.
In 2001, he was found guilty of conspiring to murder his then-girlfriend Cherica Adams, who was pregnant with his child. He served 18 years of a 18–24 year prison sentence at the Sampson Correctional Institution in Clinton, North Carolina, and was released October 22, 2018.[3]
Just got out of prison today. A relatively young man gets to go free after that stuff??? If he moves to California they just restored voting rights for violent felons and have generous welfare benefits for said same.
