Would you want your team to draft Jones?

[Seinfeld]

Far from the flashiest QB out there, but I’m having a hard time finding many deficiencies. I’m sure it also helps to be playing with an NFL team while still in college

[Shmuley]

Yes

[Drebin]

I think Jones is going to end up being a pretty good pro QB. I bet he has a better career than Tua.

[Uncle Ruckus]

I would be thrilled if he ended up a Saint. You can probably trade up in the 2nd and get him.

I NEVER want a Bama QB. QBs don’t get better at Bama because their supporting cast is too good. You want a QB who had to carry their college team. When they get to the league the parity makes it easier for them than it was in college.

[The Peeper]

I don't know, looks like just another in a long line of AL QB's surrounded by superior talent that just wins by doing the basics extremely well and not making mistakes. One day one of them will make it

[Go Budaw]

Take a flyer on him on the 2nd day maybe, but nobody should blow a 1st or 2nd rounder on him.

The last good QB to come out of Alabama was Ken Stabler. Rutledge and Todd had long careers as journeyman QBs though, so maybe you count them, but still, that's over 40 years ago.

Not as the face of my franchise but possibly as a solid backup. I have a feeling he'll have an AJ MCcarron type of career.

The issue is he hasn't really been placed in a pressure situation where the game is on his shoulders to win. Most of their games this year were decided by the start of the 4th quarter. That's not to criticize him but if I'm thinking of paying him millions, that has to be a consideration.
