This past January, would you have traded Jarrian Jones, Fabien Lovett, Stewart Reese, Keytaon Thompson, and Brevyn Jones for KJ Costello, Tyrell Shavers, Scott Lashley, Brandon Ruiz, and Jay Banks Jr?

I think I have to say yes. Yes, I would.

I don't even know who 3 of those players are, and I only found out who Shavers is a couple of days ago. But the answer is yes.

I think Costello is a definite gain for us and Lovett is a definite loss. Everybody else, we’ll see. I do hate that we lost Reese but maybe getting Lashley is a wash, Reese wasn’t a superstar by any means. Don’t know what kind of player Jarrian would’ve been but he didn’t show me much last year.

Probably depends on Shavers, if he ends up being a productive player then we probably got the best out of all the comings and goings.

I think Reese and Lovett are the big losses. Costello probably makes up for those two; at least his one season.
Shavers is the wild card.

Costello could possibly singlehandedly (and no not literally “on his own”) win a game or two for us, games his replacements wouldn’t have, and keep us in another game or two to have oppurtunities for W’s. As good as a Cox or Mckinney were, they were able to neither.
