I don't know man, that Jordan Hawkins. Prettiest shot in the game. Looking like Jesus Shuttlesworth (AKA Ray Allen) out there. Hope they lose though.
Yeah but his name still isn’t really a household name . That is what has been missing in college basketball .

Even the one and done talent haven’t been must see TV. I remember not watching to miss any of Michael Beasley games that were on TV . I just don’t have that same feeling anymore . Could be me but I think it’s the sport .

WOW!!! So Cal makes 2 million MORE than all 4 of the Final 4 coaches!!!

I NEVER want to hear another poster on this board say, "WHO can UK get that could do BETTER"!!!!!!

From the looks of that group, UK could do MUCH BETTER and CHEAPER!!!!

SAD

Think about the Ginormous amount of money that has been wasted over the past three years and what we got out of it.

Pretty much. I once defended college ball in a thread comparing it to the NBA. Yeah I can’t do that now. College ball is just awful right now.
Hard to connect with the players . They are one or done or transferring . We don’t see teams that stick together and grow over the years anymore . If they had to stay at a school just 2 years that would improve this so much .

I disagree. It's fun seeing teams who don't usually make it, make it. I want to be there but its boring seeing the same 7 or 8 teams duke it out. I think it'd be fun as hel having SDSU or Miami winning it. FAU would be another mind-f**k.
Parity is fine in limited doses. Right now there is too much parity for me. There’s no difference between a blue blood, a power 5, and a mid-major.

We are UK, there USED TO BE NO COMPARISON!!!!! With what Cal is making, NO EXCUSE for his TOTAL FAILURE the past few seasons!!!

I noticed you didn't say, "WHO can UK get to replace him"!!!!! That question has been ANSWERED after this season!!!!!

Once UConn wins their 5th title in 23 years, I wonder if the Calipologists will keep chirping about how "It's naive to expect UK to win multiple titles in a short period of time."
In the last 15 years

Kansas
UNC
Nova
UConn
Duke

all have multiple titles.
The average seed number of the four teams making the Final Four is 5.75. Don't ever remember it being that high. No ones, no twos and no threes. Whatever system the committee uses to do it seeding, it failed them miserably this year.
2011 was an 11 seed, an 8, a 4 and a 3.

2000 was two 8 seeds, a 5 and a 1. Michigan State was the only one who saved that seed average.

You are right. 2011 would have been the worst seed average.

Have a felling the championship game will be worse than that butler vs UConn game from 2011
Same city too. Hello Friends....Jim Nantz last call in a city he went to college and we have to hope that announcers aren't apologizing like Clark Kellogg was during the National Championship between Butler/Uconn.

BTW-Butler with their 18% FG percentage was truly disgusting. The darling of the sport Brad Stevens teams were more SDSU than what viewing fans enjoy.

There might not be start power, but it has certainly been a lot of fun watching real team basketball again.
I agree the play has been great . I really meant in general regular season included . Outside of UK I don’t watch it as much as I used to .

San Diego St is the only weak link in the final 4. The teams that made it earned it, so I am not certain why you think it isn't going to be good. Big familiar names this season only brought a lot of talk. The players are the ones who made it. The Elite 8 was very entertaining even though the Creighton vs San Diego St game was more like a football game.
Why do you call SDSU the weak link? They took down Bama and play incredible defense.

Butler UConn was the first title game I ever turned off in my lifetime. It was bad basketball. Absolutely awful.

I skipped the 2015 finals and the entire 2017 final four cause of the cheat fest. But 2011 was terrible.

UConn will blow out sdsu/Florida Atlantic, Miami is the last shot at beating them, and I don’t know if omeir can handle UConn’s front line

If Jim Larranaga wasn't coaching Miami, I wouldn't even care to watch this Final Four.

I feel like this is going to be a repeat of the 2011 Final Four. The winner of Miami-UConn is going to thrash whomever wins the San Diego State-FAU game just like how everyone knew in '11 that the winner of UK-UConn was going to beat the winner of Butler-VCU.

Modern college basketball has been so watered down, it is hard to get excited about the Final Four. These days, everyone sucks. Winning the national championship no longer means you have a great team. It just means you managed to suck a bit less than everyone else for 6 games. As a fan of the game, I hardly find that compelling. College basketball in its current form is simply dead. I can't believe anyone still watches.

I understand, but based on how they played today, I just don't think they have enough offense to win. I could be wrong, but I don't think so.

Loved basketball, both NBA and NCAA as a kid in the 80's. Anymore, i start watching basketball once the NFL playoffs are finished.
