It has Janis Joplin "singing," that's what's wrong with it. Whoever told her she could sing must have been the same guy that hired Nina Blackwood for SiriusXM 80's on 8.

What'd she sound like in her MTV heyday? She's had a good 40 years of cigarettes to sound like she does now (presumably that's the reason for her "husky" voice).

Janis Joplin had some pretty good songs - a unique sound exacerbated by drugs and booze and who knows what else.
