Worst case scenario?

Seems like it would be us losing 49 wins, which would really suck as it would put us behind Kansas and UNCheat. But no banners and likely no punishments beyond that. Also, that is a LONG way from happening. Just hope nothing more comes out.

The main part of the story is likely yet to come. The indication all along has been pay for play schemes with Nike and adidas to buy recruits. I would wait to see what comes of that before trying to assess the damage. I hope UK isn’t involved in that side. Would be nice to see the non SEC powers go down instead.

Just looking strictly at the wave of info from today:

The WORST case scenario is that someone on our staff gets linked to the conversations regarding Bam's payments just like what happened with UL and Bowen. That would mean program altering punishments.

The most likely scenario? Considering the timing of it Bam received that money independent of UK on his own. We still played an ineligible player, and thus will have to vacate the 2016-2017 season and the zero banners to go along with it, and then move on with life until the next wave (if there is one and if we're even involved in the next one).

I expect what has leaked out are the smaller items that the FBI can't/won't use in any federal trial. I think you find KU (& Zona) the most likely school linked to illegal Miller activities.

KU and UNC may possibly vacant wins as well.

My unc buddy said Brice Johnson may have took money and/or meals.
True. Thus far, 2016-17 is the only season really in question. But even if we have to vacate it, we may still be the leader when Kansas & UNC do the same. And if UNC has to vacate their title, how poetic would that be?

I don’t think vacating games happens. (Based solely on current information.) You’re talking about a lot of players and lots of games including all the other schools. Knox has already denied and I’m guessing other families will deny.

Today’s information only includes information FBI has agreed to give to the media. (Not relevant to their case.) I’m guessing the next wave of official FBI documents related to their case will include some more bombshells. Let’s hope we’re not on that list.

Yeah my unc buddy is kinda getting nervous about Bradley possibly being ruled as ineligible. My buddy said we just dodged the "not going to class" scandal and now this pops up. Poetic justice!!!

I just hope UNCheat is involved in a way that the NCAA would have to punish them too. That way they will just absolve everyone and wipe the slate clean.
