When did it become cool to like all these ****** craft beer? Give me Miller Lite and y'all can keep all that awful tasting dark beer! And I like a cold Natty to mix things up now and then as well.. I'm not a fan of the craft beer fad.

Funny, I have the exact same question about Miller Lite. I'm not knocking it because it's a decent brew as far as light beers for the beach or golfing go, but I swear that I've got an astounding number of friends/family that won't touch anything other than it. I bet that there isn't a single one of them that could tell the difference between ML, Bud Lt, etc either

I can deal with a lot of beers, but you fellas that like some of these IPAs must have a whole different set of taste buds than I do. If I were to list the ten worst beers I've ever had, I swear that IPAs would make up nine of them.

Edited: Sorry, replied to the wrong post

Ya'll are crazy. Old Milwaukee heavy was/is a delicacy. I drank the big (16 oz) Red and Gold cans all the time. You could get them at the Texaco next to the police station for like $1.99 per six pack in the late 90s.

I remember K&B from when I was a kid. I don't remember them having their own store brand beer. I can only imagine.

It was equally horrible. Schwegmann's Grocery Store in New Orleans also had their own brand of liquor... rot gut.

Bud Light and Abita Stawberry...

I would could die of thirst if they were all I had to drink...

Give me a Abita Spring IPA, Dale's Deviant, or Founders All Day IPA for a session...

Well, it is getting harder to find in the market...

and it is not due to sells. It is being picked up because most is out of date.

sierra nevada Bigfoot barley wine

Leinenkugel's Sunset Wheat gets my vote. You can check out our reactions to this god awful beer below. What's yours?

I had 5 bottles of that stuff in my fridge for 3 years. no one would touch it. Red Stripe Light is easily the worst "light" beer. Shocktop end of the world wheat is the worst wheat beer.

I love Sunset Wheat (actually had one this evening before seeing this), and like Sam Adams Cherry Wheat. drank plenty of Beast heavy back in the day. Yuengling is my fave though.

My best and worst were from the same brewery

My own house.

I brewed some really good beer for about a year but that last batch made me quit! That stuff was the nastiest stuff to ever hit my lips.

I had been brewing some really good ale's. I didn't attempt lagers because I didn't have the proper storage units for lagers... or the patience.

My son-in-law helped with the last batch and he dropped a something in it that may have contaminated the whole batch or I may have just stored it too hot. Either way, that batch sucked donkey balls. I couldn't even give it way. Several bottles got opened and poured out. It completely drove me out of the brewing biz.

Only considering beer that's supposed to be "good?" Cherry Wheat. Any beer? That new Coors summer orange ****. I drank one and got nauseous from the unchecked sweetness.

Ahh, Katz & Besthoff, the nectar of the....swamp. They had great prices on their beer though, always bought mine there when I was in Laurel. You could go there on Friday and Saturday nights and watch the bootleggers from surrounding dry counties load their trunks down with beer. They also had such delicacies as Mickeys Big Mouth Beer, Sterling, Dixie, Strohs, Hamms, Falstaff, Jax, I could go on but getting a headache.

I had a friend that worked in a liquor store and said those same guys that bought the beer would go to the liquor stores and load up on the big half gallon size bottles of rock gut liquor like Aristocrat and he said they would sell it to you in whatever containers you brought to them if you didn't want the whole bottle. If you showed up with a Mnt. Dew bottle, they would pour into a measuring cup and charge you by the ounce if you wanted.

Leinenkugel's Summer Shandy, it tasted like someone mixed beer and lemon pine sol. I hated Grolsch too. And the worst was Red Wolf on tap on penny pitcher night at P.J.'s in Delta, LA. It was always warm, always ******, but it was a penny.
