whats funny is that many didnt want vanderbilt a year ago. couldnt shoot.

still cant really...but its funny seeing people change their tune
He isn't a great shooter but he ain't briscoe freshman year either. He is better then MKG was for example and is actually really good from about 10-15 with it . His long range is sketchy though still.

Shai has great length, a 6'10" wingspan. He also has a high motor and a better handle than he's been given credit for. Needs to gain some weight, but he could be a force at PG with more experience.

I think a lot of that was due to Knox.

However, Knox hasn't looked as spotlight-ready in these postseason games as people expected. Kox's strength (scoring) isn't as strong as expected, and Vanderbilt's strengths are stronger than expected (in this game).

Vanderbilt was always the higher-rated prospect until last summer, when he slid because of his shooting and because he missed some time with injury. I suspect he's actually more advanced in terms of being ready to play at the highest level of D1 than most top 25 guys. He can rebound, pass, and defend at a very, very high level.

Carter hasn't done **** in this game. Also, Nick Richards has a mean streak. Love it.

What am I missing that makes DuVal the best PG in class?
Eh he , Green and Young are all in the same area IMO . Duval is more of an althete then the other 2 so he is the highest ranked and best prospect but I wouldn't trade green for anyone .

i think it's actually pretty good.

The problem is, it's really weak guard class. So you don't really see any offense run and bigs just aren't skilled as guards.

He wants to be a perimeter player so bad that he doesn't spend the time down low he should as he is really talented . He is a true PF though like PJ and there aren't alot in this class like that. Seems there are a ton of centers and SF this year.
